Massive +1

Standard we tried it before and it didn't work doesn't wash with me.

It was never promoted and wasn't given long enough.

Hopefully if we get a new owner he isn't as short sighted as the current crop we have on the board.

"we don't want hundreds of kids running around the place".

Chris, your way off. We do want hundreds of kids running round the place, we just want to do it in a way that actually succeeds. It would be easy just to say kids go free, but the way we are going to do it will actually be more of a success.

Short sighted? Harsh that when the club are making massive inroads on and off the field.

It's from a comment made a couple of years ago by one of the current directors at a meeting. Not their finest hour tbh, but if I remember correctly we were all a bit [SwearFilter] off with each other by that point in the proceedings.

Chris bud, I agree with you and I want NC in if it's right, but U16's free only works properly if you have an organised go at it and that is (finally) what is beginning to happen.

Anyway, it's a beautiful day, so let's see if we can get a half decent crowd in. Anything 850 plus would be great- bring a friend.

Just an idea, one that will soon get bullet holes in it no doubt  . But could we not get our friends at the Furness Building Society involved in this one. The under 11s account Little squawkers, the under 16s The Fledgling account linked to promotions and admittance to home Games or something along those lines. Get the blighters saving instead of spending all the time too!! ;)

A dry and calmer day at last so today might just be the day for that hammering which has been coming for a while. Going for a Barrow 5-1. 2 more for Rushden, Arnison, Marsh and Sheridan. Att, surely got to top 4 figures, so 1108. The evening mail should have put the link to the official Gloucester highlights in with last night's build up, then we would certainly have got more in today. Absolutely fantastic performance based on what I watched.
