So do I but I am going to wait until its official before I throw my children in the air in a celebratory fashion.
Steve Herbert supports the nob theory - Saturday 4th February 2012.

If this bus crashed and everybody on it died, Barrow football would end - Daz Boyle, Boston away, August 9th 2014.

Brian Keen is on Radio Cumbria just after 7, and the official site and the NWEMAIL will be carrying the story around that time.

And you don't think the rag will 'accidentally' let it slip on their site before it is announced by Brian, as would be proper?

They might, but its embargoed until 7am. Sometimes you just have to have a bit of trust, nothing else we can do.

Yes I did. lets see. It the news leaks it leaks, although you could argue that if they were gonna do it they'd have done it by now!

Pete. I very strongly believe that the announcement by Brian on the radio should be the first that anyone bar the board, the vote counters and Paul Casson hears of it. I'm actually surprised to hear that it is any other way. Surprised and pretty disappointed.

Yep agreed, they should get the same story as everyone else and find out at the same time as everyone else, they also have the tendency to get things wrong and I wouldn't trust them to announce it until after its been announced by BK.
Perhaps if we all go round to Steve Shaw's house with a baseball bat each we can find out in advance of the official announcement ;)

You've been staying up past your bedtime watching Clockwork Orange again John!! ;) For once the EM got something right in getting in touch with Mr Casson and credit to Steve Shaw for his part in that!

Haha, yeah Mark.
TBH Steve Shaw has been ok with the AFC news, but the paper lets itself down in many other ways.

As its not long till the takeover ballot result is announced (officially or unofficially), I'll lock this thread so a seperate topic can be started for the outcome of the ballot.
