It had everything, donk, altrees dancing, super mario, absinthe, birds with wooden teeth, dairylea, funny looking birds from accrington and a kettle full of [SwearFilter].

Just this tbh.....dolmio man

Newport away, never have i been to a game, been turned over 5-0 and then done oops upside ya head and is this the way to amarillo down the aisle of the bus on the way home.

Eastbourne stopover was classic, karaoke classics in the bar to kieron hayman putting socks over his trainers to make them look like shoes ha not forgetting duff in his painted on shirt ha

Braintree away for stus birthday was one definatley not to miss,

Far too many to mention, common way to describe most of our travels was generally a great day ruined by 90 mins of football,

Im with al roll on august so we can do it all again

My wife hates football but on one occasion in the early 80s, we went to a cup game at Bishop Aucklands old ground where the afc fans packed the paddock to one side of the old cast iron stand. Some may remember but half way through the second half, a fence started moving over on the cricket pitch and when flattened, a load of spotty adolesant geordies with flat caps came running at us and she turned to me and said"thought you said there would be no trouble" Also she went to the FCUM cup tie at bury and was swearing like a trouper at the stewards for not dong their job properly, cant get her into holker street for love nor money though.

Bournemouth away is my favourite by a mile, unbelievable support that night.
Enjoyed Burton more than Wembley and Middlesborough more than Sunderland
Just one of those odd ones that sticks out that everyone has but Tamworth away in the cup when Brodie took the mick always stands out for me as well
Oldham away was great fun, back when the FA Cup seemed to mean something to everyone

Morecambe and Lancaster were always good in the 80s when we travelled in big numbers.Enfield away and subsequent replays against them.more recent I did enjoy Luton a big atmosphere and beating ,but visited that quirky away end. That barmy Friday night at Burton takes some beating though. :scarf:

Bump!

Enjoyed reading these. Was looking for a picture to advertise the raffle and happened across this thread. What a shame, tonight would have been electric over there, we'd have taken some support.

I'll add Lowestoft and Notts County away to the 2014 list but there are too many to mention.

Football is brilliant

Those early days of the ISC were the best of days.
Lads flying down to some games and known as the Barrow First Airborne Division.
I lived for those days. The camaraderie was superb.
If only we could turn back the clock.
Mind you the football wasn't much to write home about.😂

Lowestoft would go firmly towards the top of the list since this was first done; still can’t believe the support we took down there

Don’t go on the Pier!

Lowestoft the day we won the league.

4 of us on a 2 night bender, driving home with the worst hangovers in the world. Barrow literally took over lowestoft and then great Yarmouth that day!

Yep Lowestoft top of the tree! Also Add Torquay three seasons ago great stopover and Gateshead and Chester and onward to Wrexham last year.
Think Yeovil this year might of eclipsed them all but sadly we will never know!😁😁
