I've spoken to my contact at the club and he says you won't be getting the Town End. Internet rumours do not do enough to make us think you will even bring close to 100, let alone the 250 normally required for us to part with the town end.

Money does not equal success (Guiseley and Brackley have stalled at this level). You haven't made any impressive signings and your away support is traditionally poor. You are getting your hopes up and I think Saturday will prove I was right all along.

Despite being a deluded joker I must point out that James Walker is a sealant manufacturer; Jason Walker is a striker returning to the mighty Barrow AFC. The game versus Boston was a cracker at our place last time, equally entertaining was the conduct of some of your supporters who went out of control on getting a draw at the FBSS.

You have got a real prospect in Duran Reynolds and I expect Boston and Barrow to be top 5 as the season unfolds. Another draw Saturday methinks.

I keep thinking this champ but it just gets dismissed as trolling. I think us, Harrogate, Tamworth, Guiseley and Hednesford will form the top 5. Barrow will probably make the top half but their squad is not even playoff material.

Agree with Wintergreen. I think we'll see a hard fought draw on Saturday. Boston remain a good solid side and deserve to be given respect. They will be (as they generally are) a top half side. First game of the season, there is no form guide to go by and I cant see many goals.

Much has been made of our attacking options in the current squad. However, from what I've seen and heard I've been most impressed with the pairing of Livesey and Grand in defence. They are definitely class and will not leak many goals this season. If we can convert chances at the other end then we will have a real opportunity to be in the top half dozen. Personally I think the squad depth and size will tell over time - meaning I think our form will improve as the season progresses and I think we'll score a lot of our goals in the last quarter of games as we can bring quality onto the pitch.

Barrow/Boston games have a history of having a bit of an edge (did anyone see Paul Bastock bleating on about the shocking treatment he received from Barrow supporters in last weeks NLP?). However, I think this one may be a bit a dud. Hope I'm wrong.
