Fyldes ground is part of a big development being built on the owners land, the bigger they are the more delays, I think they know there will be delays hence the spend on their present ground.

My understanding is that if they don't bring their present ground up to the standard required they cannot be promoted, no matter where they 'may' be playing next season.

The more I read about that Fylde chairman, he seems like an arrogant knob. And his quotes imply that they're in a situation now where they only have to spend £75,000 and they're up - just like Keegan, "I would love it...etc"

........ whatever you think of fylde's chairman, he is local (he used to play for the team when they were kirkham and wesham) and he does get things done (think he'd be a nightmare to work for)
