Never in a million years did we look like scoring until Howarth came on, and what a goal it was.....in the top three scored by a Barrow player this season without doubt. Very disappointed with Pilks today, and lately TBH, just doesn't seem to be able to pick up from where he left off before his injury. Andy Howarth's place must surely be nailed on for Monday. Thought ARH and Shez did ok today.

Amazing to see Izak Reid being pushed by a Stockport player when walking off, how did he get away with that?

Harsh for someone to criticise Tony Mc after being thrown in so late with AT being ill (also heard Shaun Riley struck down with same illness) for his first game in months he did fine although I admit his kicking was poor.

Although I would've expected more with being in this position at this stage of the season it was an ok (just) sized crowd.

Had to laugh when coming out of the ground and virtually bumping into two Stockport supporters and one said "[SwearFilter] dump"...........a [SwearFilter] dump that's just took six points of you mate-boy

Results are everything at this stage of the season, well done to the players and Edmo, inspired substitution wins it for us. On to Chorley for another toughy but they are all gunna be tough till seasons end aren't they.

Thought it was never going to come, but when it did, what a strike. We dominated possession and had the best of the half chances but at 0-0 its wide open. Difficult game for McMillan to come back into the team but was sharp enough when needed and pulled off a great block save when he was in. The workrate of this team is outstanding and it has been all season. Sheridan had a great game today as did ARH. Very pleased.

It is all about results at this stage - pressure is on AFC Fylde now

I thought the number there looked more to be honest. It could have been more but people get put off by the weather and some people have to work and suspect some were doing things over the Easter weekend

Monday is going to great - a BPA win tomorrow will really take the pressure off - a win on Monday would be massive

Was expecting them to announce nearer 2000. The stand must've been 75% full and the pop side looked busy. Probably 150 stockport fans. Difficult to judge

The workrate, hunger and attitude was top notch today, even if the quality wasn't always brilliant. Sam Sheridan was immense, what a shift he put in. On the down side, one or two players look a bit out of touch to me, but having a strong squad is really paying off now. I really hope Ant Wilson is okay, it'll be heartbreaking for the lad if the knee has gone again. As for Haworth's goal - worth the entrance fee on its own. He's a class act - causes panic whenever he gets the ball. I too thought there was more than 1600....

Results are eveything now, sounded much better today, I was measureing up ajob and the people next door were having a gathering in the garden & its was a open plan fenceless garden, they were trying to ask me what i was doing for next door etc & i was keeping the talking to a bare minimum as I was listening to the game etc id justbroke off the chatter when we scored, the Scream of YEESSSS GET THE FUDGE INNNN kinda shocked everyone as you could hear apin drop as they all turned to look at the madman mouths gaped wide open hahaha :flag:

Worst Stockport team I've ever seen. Guess Alan Lord's days are numbered. I Thought they were woeful.
A slightly improved performance on the Bradford game. Wilson is definitely carrying an injury, kept wincing with pain long before he got injured and taken off.
He has definitely been playing through the pain barrier the last couple of games.
Enter Andy Haworth who scores a worldy, Definitely goal of the season. Thought we were heading for another 0-0
Stockport never really troubled and McMillan with an excellent save kept the score at 1-0
Although some poor free kicks, Sheridan MOM for me today. Football not pretty but a 1-0 ugly win will do for me.
5 cup finals left, Would settle for a point at Chorley, but who knows..........
