There seems a similar patter to last year developing here - tinkering like last year until the FA cup defeat when it seemed PC had a word... perhaps it's time for the chairman to make another call.

Was JW harrying the defenders/midfielders leading them to hurry & get rid by aimlessly wellying it up field then when Grimes came on that stopped giving them an extra second to compose themselves and play better balls out thus leading to a better chance for them downfield.Jonty wrote:We have conceded more than any other team and it appears we have totally collapsed today. Bringing Walker off and bringing on Grimes certainly was the turning point today as Walker was having a decent game and causing them problems holding up the ball and linking well with Cook, Grimes came on and the game changed completely. Halifax then pressed and put us on the back foot, as soon as they got their first the writing was on the wall as we collapsed and sat back leaking in three. Edmo must have his own reasons for tinkering but certainly backfired today and not for the first time.
