It was the same starting 11 as Saturday so no tinkering went on - maybe if you have two games in 48 hours you should tinker a little bit

People hit the panic button when we didn't sign Messi in the summer - 7 games in not great but 39 games to go yet - we could finish up on 124 points yet

He wasnt too light in pre season when he was banging em in every game

We have conceded more than any other team and it appears we have totally collapsed today. You could argue that at 1-0 up and in control he should be able to comfortably make changes during the game. Surely swapping Walker for Grimes shouldn't upset the balance that much- in fact fresh legs to go and get that second goal. Something is not right with the defending and if teams put any sort of a squeeze on us we go into panic mode- we are dreadful at defending set pieces. It needs to be sorted out or else we are going to get sucked into that mire. I did think Newby would feature at some point today and can only imagine he was out due to that tackle on Sat. If not then I have no idea why he would be left out.

Jason Walker is a skinny little ginger and he's done ok for a number of years. Edmo, you talk out of your arse sometimes, sorry .

Edmo saying that today baffled me, We all know Football Speak is gobbledygook at the best of times & Yes he could do with putting a bit of beef on, But come off it Edmo, He should be your jewel in the crown to bring the best out of your under-preforming wide men, As in telling them if they dont play well in the 1st half they will be subbed at half time......Then if that worked, tell them give me a red hot 20 mins them I want to bring on young Newbs to help his development, After all as others have siad he has done the business when given the chance, Slowly increase his playing time while give him the diet/gym plan to bulk up some, win/win all round.

Was JW harrying the defenders/midfielders leading them to hurry & get rid by aimlessly wellying it up field then when Grimes came on that stopped giving them an extra second to compose themselves and play better balls out thus leading to a better chance for them downfield.

Defense is suffering a crisis of confidence by conceding shed loads of goals so panic will be a feature until they settle it down, setting deeper & deeper wont help them out during our mini crisis IMO

Bringing Walker off and bringing on Grimes certainly was the turning point today as Walker was having a decent game and causing them problems holding up the ball and linking well with Cook, Grimes came on and the game changed completely. Halifax then pressed and put us on the back foot, as soon as they got their first the writing was on the wall as we collapsed and sat back leaking in three. Edmo must have his own reasons for tinkering but certainly backfired today and not for the first time. Some big questions now over Edmo on selection and tactics !!

Spoke with a league scout at forest green he said the players Edmonson have brought to barrow are just not good enough to even keep us up, if this is the case which it does look he was right the blame is clearly with Edmonson, we have a manager, two assistant managers a fitness coach and heaven knows who else but the players do not look fit enough to play pub football we have a squad of 25 players some of which he brought in and they don't even make the bench very very odd, grimes looked totally uninterested when he came on,we totally ran this game but again could not add to our score, I know people say don't totally blame the manager but he coaches them he brought them in in my opinion he is totally to blame and if he is not replaced soon we will be back in the national north next season. Mr Casson is not getting value for his investment and neither are the supporters, shocking against southport and again today.

Then coming to us and getting 10 minutes a game as the ball goes over your head to the other striker

Early days but I've been unimpressed with Grimes' demeanour and attitude so far. Sourcing the opinions of fans from his recent clubs suggest talent but poor work rate.
