Edmo needs his strongest squad out.We are not going to win the league so revenue off a good cup run will be good financially.

Giving people a run out in cup games was tried last year with spectacular lack of success!

This wasn't young players though. Certainly not ex league club youth players who looked very good over pre season

Symington will be at right back. Would be ideal chance to give Newby a run out but doubt it will happen

Just letting you know you are talking complete bobbins
Elliot himself seems to agree with Mr Memories:

But Newby himself agrees with the way his fledgling career is being handled and understands that Edmondson has to bring him on in a sensible manner.

“I agree completely with that, because if he throws me into a game and maybe I don’t do so well and people start saying ‘he’s too young’ then that can have a bigger affect (in a negative way),” said Newby.
Maybe if your manager is constantly telling you that you're too young and too small you start to believe it. Obviously needs more slices of domino's pizza and a place in the team on his 35th birthday.

Exactly.

You aren't going to disagree with your boss behind his back in a local paper.

Sounds like another bench warmer. Probably younger than Newby. May get 2 mins every other week.

I thought this. Clearly has no faith in the youth that he himself brought in.

Surely denting the younger players confidence even further isnt a positive thing.

Very true, Newby was a 'young championship winger' last year.

We have 5 more or less fully fit players who are either out and out wingers or can fill in there if required. This move doesn't make any sense.

Disappointing news for Elliott Newby. I don't get the logic of this at all.
