Holt as Player Manager with Livesey as Player Coach (and Captain). That would be the dream set-up for me. Assistant Manager (Hornby?) could make the in-match calls from the bench.

Who would you drop for Livesey?

Have we any idea who previously applied for the job?

I would like to see john Sheridan appointed with our Daz as his assistant, but I have a sauce who say's Gary Mills is nailed on.

Reading the names on the poll made me smile - I'd have laughed if the situation wasn't so tragic!
No manager of any worth will want to come here - at the present moment.
Fifth off the bottom, no wish (apparently) to spend money on players, managers coming and going in a space of weeks, backroom staff gone, scout departed, best players sold...c'mon, you'd have to be crazy to take the position!
Hornby will get the job - wait and see...
It's all part of Casson's plan - and I'm not talking about the five year EFL objective.
I'll give our owner credit though...he'd make a superb chess player!

If we play two CBs then I would have Nieskens alongside him all day long. Diarra can fight for his place and rotate in whenever. Ultimately we would want to see a 'scary' CB. Livesey would be our Paul Jones, but where is our McNulty or Hume?

Definitely more then meets the eyes and ears. Wouldn’t want to play him at chess either
