Is it really SIXTY years since I went with my late father and many others to clear snow and ice off the pitch with nothing more than shovels, picks and watchmans' braziers (ask your dad) to get the FA Cup tie with Wolves on . Progress eh !

Be interesting to see what other games are off today if any, there seems to be an issue with our pitch that it can't take a sustained period of rain.

Be my last visit to Barrow for a while wish id saved my cash and gone next Saturday
Workington v Farsley Celtic is also OFF.

Good idea , leave the covers on and they could use all the water collected on top to fill up the water bottles for the players.

The four teams below us have tricky away games and orient play tranmere with a bit of luck positions will not change and we will have one more game in hand (but we need to win it).

Expect Blackpool May suffer same plight today.Combination of compact ground from new lights and remains of buried speedway site plus the hand of god with the weather.no
Ones fault at least if team strengthens with new players bit more time to gel.Of course to the critics it another stick to beat management with. They can watch one of our rivals with artificial pitch !i will watch spirt on box and do me ironing and await next game.

Nothing wrong with our pitch IMO. An exceptional amount of rain over the last month or so with hardly any recovery time in between. It just can't take anymore. If it carries on then the Sutton game will also be in doubt.

Significant amount of rain during the night in Barrow which woke me up at one point (a rare occurence) been raining ever since and its in for the day. Nothing the club can do about such weather, unlike the rest of our troubles which they can do something about of course.
We will foller the soccer, over land and sea...

If Hartlepool go belly up before the rearranged date, this game may never get played.
