They hit the post three times but we had numerous chances scrambled away. Goals win games, we just lacked that cutting edge and they just shaded it for me. But we battled for the most part and it's all you can ask. Other teams keep doing us favours hopefully that continues.

Ten out of ten for effort, but it just wouldn't go in. Possibly deserved a point although they hit the post three times, but it is still in our hands.
Onwards to Guiseley where a point will take us out of the relegation zone on GD. Four cup finals to go and we have a chance.
Disappointing attendance considering free tickets were offered and the importance of the occasion.

Probably a fair result overall.

I thought we huffed and puffed, but there's little quality on the end of everything we do, we had warnings enough that a goal was on its way but couldn't do anything about it when the chance eventually fell to Ebbsfleet. They were pretty organised and every time we were in any position of danger to them they seemed to have two/three players on our player in possession.

I thought their keeper did very well and pretty much caught or punched anything that came anywhere near him, add to that their defenders did their job competently - and with L. James on his own most of the time - the writing was on the wall.

At 0-1 the game (from our point of view) was calling out for a change, so why Ady left it till so late is baffling.

A good battling (if not skilful) performance by the team and if they can carry on like that till the end of the season I still believe we will stop up.

Not a bad day for the officials either, I thought they were amongst some of the better ones we've had this season.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

I just hope we've got enough in us to get us over the line.

I can't agree with those who thought we were unlucky today . . . as mentioned, they hit the woodwork three times so Lady Luck was trying her best for us. Normally I come away from the ground with steam coming out of my ears if I think we have been unlucky but I felt resigned to it long before the end of this one. I think Spirit is right . . . plenty of huffin and puffin but ultimately leading to nuffin.Yes, we could and should have scored early on (Hall missed a great chance) but after they took the lead (and throughout the entire second half) I could not see us scoring. I felt Ebbsfleet snuffed us out comfortably.

Walters and Kingsley James had little impact today after starring on Tuesday night. Luke James as always battled brilliantly but, as always, was asked to cope with poor delivery to him (usually up in the air for the little fella).

We have had a shocking record over the last few years of failing miserably against teams below us. There aren't many teams in this league that are poorer than us but on paper Guiseley must be one of them. No excuses, we have to go there and do a professional job and get all three points. I am surprised Woking lost to Bromley today but it means they are the only ones left now that offer us a way out and it's a chance we had better take.

Holt replacing Walters in the 96th minute was certainly a strange one

Agree about the drums ban.

We never looked like scoring in the second have, they contained us quite easily

I thought after Tuesday we would come out with the same oomph and passion but for me we didn’t - I thought we went flat after about 15 mins. They weren’t a great team but their keeper was excellent

Aside from the luck of seeing two easy Ebbsfleet chances roll back off the post, of course...
If you like. Don't worry about the four chances that saw desperate Ebbsfleet defending to keep the ball out, including one that Flashscore thought was in... You go negative, that's the spirit.

Very disappointed with today's performance after Tuesdays great win. Okay, we were playing a much better organized, stronger side than Tuesday, but where was the passion and commitment we showed on Tuesday?
The lack of consistency between games is puzzling.....how our attitude can change so much in the space of 4 days is unbelievable.
Tuesday was a great night, not because of the quality of play particularly, but the intensity and passion shown was impressive but today it was a completely different attitude. BTW...how Hall can start ahead of Gomis is beyond me!

Not sure how that's negative - I was saying we had our fair share of luck! You bemoaning our fortunes is pretty negative...

Bedsentè Gomis is clearly carrying an injury as is Nathan Waterston and others too!! It's how the club manage those injured giving enough rest and recovery time without jeopardising our chances of staying up. A Fine balance indeed.

I think you have to give ebbsfleet some credit, they did a solid job on us.. we created a few chances but they were well drilled and organised at the back, so can see why they are on the edge of playoffs.
Decent shift by most today, Hall had another innocuous day...

3 pts Tuesday will be much appreciated

Yes we came up against a solid well organised side yesterday. No suprise that the best teams just do the basics right and are well organised. That is the diffence between us and the top 10. Our side with an experienced Danny Livesy / Grand / McNulty leadng at the heart of defence and we wouldnt be strugglIng where we are.

If we’d had Jimmy Dunne all season we wouldn’t be where we are, he was quality whilst he was here
