That's pretty funny.

Re: 2 more signed - Jack Hindle and Astley Mullholland
So, the incoming manager gets told who is in his squad of players when he starts.....Hmmmm
Re: 2 more signed - Jack Hindle and Astley Mullholland
Welcome to the club. Give your all lads and that's all we can ask from you.
Popular side since '03.
Re: 2 more signed - Jack Hindle and Astley Mullholland
Couldn't agree more. It looks to me like the squad is being bulked out with lads that are hungry to play in higher leagues.I cant see the incoming manager being dumb enough not to realise that he will have to bring in more experienced players to help these lads from the lower leagues when the going gets tough.BoltonBlue wrote: ↑Tue May 29, 2018 5:43 pmAgree with this. Feeling quite optimistic tbh, give me a team full of hungry lower league workhorses with a point to prove than that shower of shite last season. Step in the right direction, Danny Liversey type centre half now please.

Just read the mail where it said Paul Ogden was coming back.whitty1969 wrote: ↑Tue May 29, 2018 5:55 pm So, the incoming manager gets told who is in his squad of players when he starts.....Hmmmm
It goes on to say the Manager will not be a Manager with National League experience or above but a up and coming Manager from lower league.
So inexperienced players and inexperienced Manager not really planning well for next Season I wonder if it's Holt or the Managers from Workington are going to be offered the job
See on Barrow AFC twitter one guy has put a bet of £20 for Barrow to have less than 30 points this season.

Unless he’s already got the job and started recruiting his players!whitty1969 wrote: ↑Tue May 29, 2018 5:55 pm So, the incoming manager gets told who is in his squad of players when he starts.....Hmmmm

I wonder if these signings mean we are going partime?
Can't see anyone packing up a job for a 1 year deal.

FFS this site condems all at times. Give these new players encouragement. Starting here with me. WELCOME aboard lads. Give a 100% is all we ask.
Re: 2 more signed - Jack Hindle and Astley Mullholland
Second Jack Hindle to play for Barrow I believe. First Jack Hindle was goalkeeper between 1948 and 1950, signed from Preston then went on to play for Aston Villa.

You are such a misery. As someone else said, you don’t show that you are supporter of the team at all. You seem to be wallowing in the upheaval.Pedro wrote: ↑Tue May 29, 2018 6:51 pmJust read the mail where it said Paul Ogden was coming back.whitty1969 wrote: ↑Tue May 29, 2018 5:55 pm So, the incoming manager gets told who is in his squad of players when he starts.....Hmmmm

He is the one causing the upheaval, lifted false hopes.
So does it upset me as a supporter from 1967 yes.
It also upsets me that people think it's acceptable to continually make promised.
Be it a new stadium, football league in 5 years or we will back Ady once he saved us.
We are now.seeing a team being assembled with little experience.
If this is not a recipe for relegation you tell me
I will not see eye to eye with some people but the way we are going is a gradual wind down.
Last season equal or better replacement for Bennet etc it never happened along with alot of.other promises
