Well what a finish that sounded. Pity about the result again.

The Cassons have left us in a bit of a quandary now ,we need to get ownership of the club sorted asap then at least Evatt will know if he can increase the squad etc.
We've got 2 weeks now to hopefully get some stability to all sections of our club

For all our possession in the second half we never made their keeper make a save. They were poor and it's going to be a long season. Going for a few beers in the sun for a few days.

We did everything apart from scoring today; plenty of pressure but no real chances created. Ebbsfleet weren't a good side but they defended well and we couldn't do anything about it.

We say it every week, but if ever there was an example of us dominating a game but failing to capitalise that was it. It's virtually impossible to dominate a game that much but fail to score, yet we somehow achieved it. Ebbsfleet couldn't have argued had we won by 3 or 4 clear goals, very frustrating.

Sigh.
Dominated the match and lost again.
Sigh.

Many years ago I played for a local team in Barrow and we went through a spell where we created a lot of chances but never scored. I used to come back home most Saturday night's and think how unlucky were we. After a few weeks I realised we weren't unlucky we were just not very good. Good sides score from the chances they create poor sides don't. It's not about luck it's about ability. If you create a bagful of chances and can't score you're sadly not up to scratch. Luck doesn't come into it I'm afraid.

To be fair we had a lot out injured today, I'm not making excuses but I do believe that by sticking with the team and management and coming together to help the club we love then I do believe we'll turn the corner soon, I believe with what's happened off the pitch will not help but we will club together and go again, really like Mr hornby and trust him to do right by us all, and back Ian e to the hult, all I'm saying is we've been to some shite to get to this point and I'm very grateful to the casson family for all they have done and now onto the next chapter for this club, I'm still very optimistic for the future
