Fantastic today. We looked a much better side and took advantage of a tired Aldershot side who were very poor. It’s a huge win for the team and hopefully the start of a better run of results. I was desperate for Blyth to start and he proved me right, battling hard to win balls and getting stuck in; he really helped in supporting Smith. The fans were superb once again.

All bluebirds are blue!

Let's not get carried away, folks? "Can we play you every week"?

Not with pies costing £2.80! ;)

Superb today. Hard to single out individuals as it was a team effort Barthram, Taylor and Blyth were at it from the off. Smith relentless in his work ethic. Back three solidays, Dixon when called upon resolute.

The cheese hour is now in full swing, Venga boys has the bus bouncing, because we like to party.😂

Hope Bartram did enough to keep Brown out. He has been a liability for a few games now and gets far too many yellow cards....

Beat a very poor Aldershot side today

Very bloody happy roll on Tuesday Bluebirds!

Might only have been 60 of us today but look at the Aldershot forum to see what they thought we out sung that ground superb effort.

A battle ahead hopefully get a couple more big results before a hard Christmas run in.

Lots of praise for Barrow on the Aldershot forum. Hopefully we’ve turned a corner and can put a few points on the board.

Brilliant support again Chris. Another long trip. A great result for all who were there. " We"re Blue and White, the rest are [SwearFilter] shite "

Result has obviously panicked Wrexham into bringing in experienced striker Bobby Grant (no Brookside jokes please) from Fleetwood likely to make his debut on Tuesday,

Goodness am wrecked and delighted..Great result, Taylor, Smith and a pat on the back for Blyth, Aldershot were dreadfu mind.

As for the support, well we set our standards years ago. Certainly before my time- mentality

60 people of which 30 sang constantly outsang what is usually the best home support in the league.

Quality day out, for once not spoiled by 90 mins of football. Good beer and banter in the Garden Gate pub before the game (be careful where you put your drinks - the paint's still wet!) followed by a great performance - and result - from the team, cheered on by 62 (that's the official number anyway) noisy Barrow fans. Then a few post match pints in Woking on the way home, just to remind them that we stayed up at their expense last season.

The run of six defeats is ended, could this be the start of a winning streak? Bring on the Wrexham - we need a home victory - on Tuesday and Braintree next Saturday.
