Exciting match. Deserved win. Agustein head and shoulders above any other player on the field. Great crowd and, most unusally for us, an entertaining match and a positive result in front of it! Would have been very disappointed if we didn't win against 10 men after being twice in front so relieved when the last goal went in with only 30 seconds left! Can't do much better than 2 wins and a draw against Solihull, Fylde and Salford. Would be superb if we can get anything in the return match at Fylde.

That was an unbelievable win, what a finish. Desperate to see any highlights now.

Does Blyth's yellow for ripping his shirt off matter?

That goal from Kemi is probably the best I have ever witnessed here. He was awesome today.

Well worth going down the pub for, even though had to watch it with commentary from Rangers v Celtic from the next screen. Couldn't stifle a loud 'yes' when Kemi's goal went in, which alerted the rest of the pub to watch it on the replay: general agreement that it was 'some goal'.

As I say, I was watching it without sound, but it looked like their manager was a bit of a moany so'n'so. Penalty was definitely harsh, but the straight red looked to be the correct decision and I think the ref did pretty well overall.

What a game, just got home and watching a re run, it was never a penalty, makes up for the one we didn’t get on Boxing Day.

Walker-esque that strike; very entertaining game in front of a bumper crowd and the TV cameras - as good as it gets. Haven't seen a game quite like it for a few seasons now, we just need to finally beat Fylde to kick-start the second half of the season which could be memorable if we can keep this level of performance up. :scarf:

Evatt seemed to imply post-match that Kemy was willing to stay, just needs to get the agreement "over the line".

Also said post match that the players probably hate him for having a go at them after the match for the mistakes they made to give away the goals - but he praised their attitude, commitment, desire.

What a performance. Controlled vast amounts of game and punished them in the end. Wow.
Stood behind Ray Wilkie for years. Best education I ever had.
