So disappointing after a really good run.Its not the losing that hurts so much as the manner in which it has happened.Sounded like not only fatigue we were below par.Team didn’t sound like wanted it enough maybe complacency set in a bit.Mr Evatt will not be happy.Long way home with no points for travelling support.Safe journey.

Manager not a happy bunny. Wasted all the effort of the Christmas games. Not blaming the ref for the result but thought his decisions were poor.
He sounded frustrated with Agustien. Gave Adam short shrift when asked about his, Agustien's, future at the club. You got the impression he was stringing us along.

Cannot believe we didn’t want it enough. We all know a win today would have quietly kept us on the tails of the top 7. Just a game too many in a short space of time taken it’s toll.

Typical Barrow really. Just when you think everything’s going great it goes tits up against a poor side. It’s always been the same.

Hardly surprising when he was essentially listed on twitter back in November by his agent, who stated, “KEMY AGUSTIEN with Premier League & Championship experience, looking for a NATIONAL LEAGUE club until January 2019
@KemyAgustien been training with @BCFC 1st team since August & due to FA rules can’t join Football League club until Jan 2019”
Kemy has been poor the last two games Could it be that he’s “looking after himself due to him carrying a hamstring injury”. Surprised Evatt didn’t rest him or Rooney today (who continuously flatters to deceive but plays every game). Even when Kemy came off he replaced him with Jennings. Take off a creative player for a defensive one?!?! Surely Kay or Burgess should’ve gone on instead...

No complaints about the result; we got what we deserved. It's hard to recall a single shot on target apart from the one "goal" which was disallowed, rightly so, for a blatant handball - one of the few decisions that the referee actually got right.
One one occasion he awarded Barrow a free kick in the middle of the park, pulling us back when the advantage rule should probably been applied, then twice preventing us from taking the kick quickly.
And since when has it been an offence for an opposing player to stand a good couple of yards outside the penalty area when the goalkeeper is trying to make a clearance from a yard or so inside? Yet Jack Hindle was penalised twice - and earned a yellow card - for doing just that. One of the many rules that the referee seemed to make up as he went along.
It would be interesting to see what rating the official receives for this match; anything above a negative score would be generous in the extreme.
But, bad referee notwithstanding, we just didn't perform against a poor Havant side.

We have been superb in recent weeks but today started to show how our squad is creaking. We were absolutely appalling. We deserved nothing. Havant were awful but we were worse.
We will be safe this season but anyone dreaming of playoffs wake up now.
Special mention for the referee however who clearly was attending his first game of football in his life never mind officiating.
Only my second "live" Barrow match this season and up to now both defeats at Bromley and Havant. Have to agree with all of your comments. Havant were poor and Barrow were even poorer. Don't buy the tiredness excuses as all the teams have had the same busy schedule. In actual fact, for 35 mins I thought Barrow had the game well under control without creating anything but in the last 10 mins before half-time, Havant had the 2 or 3 best chances of the half after doing nothing previously but made a hash of them bar one great save from Dixon. Much to our surprise we started the second half without Augustine who had been the only real source of creation in the first half by virtue of the fact he can pass the ball accurately and for the first 15 mins again were in control without creating anything. Once Havant scored we felt the game was over but Barrow did create one scoring chance when only a great clearance on the line by a Havant defender stopped the equaliser but then Jameson was sent off and the game was over. I'm not sure if it was a straight red or a second yellow but if it was 2 yellows it was his own fault for getting a first booking for mouthing off at the (incompetant) referee. The only positive thing I can say about the referee is that at least he wasn't one sided being just as bad with decisions against either side! If, as seems to be the case from Ian Evatt's comments we have seen the last of Augustine then I worry how we're going to score many goals because we don't have any othe players who can create. Taylor is a great ball winner but Rooney was very poor. The new player, McFarland, is quick but is very raw. I thought Dixon, Granite, Jones played pretty well and Taylor was the best Barrow player both the rest were pretty poor today.

I was sitting in the stand with my son and 2 friends who aren't Barrow supporters but have played a lot of football and know the game. Not one of us could believe it when the Havant keeper kept complaining about a Barrow forward standing yards away from him but moving presumably to try to get him to kick with his weaker right foot. Even more amazing was when the referee suddenly decided in the second half that this was an offence and then booked a Barrow player the second time he did it. The referee clearly didn't know the rules as what the player was doing was completely legal. In fact, all the Havant fans near us were saying exactly the same thing and there was general agreement from all supporters that the referee was totall useless!

Terrible performance, terrible ref. Rooney was absolutely abysmal. In hundreds of destinations I have drank in Havant served the worst beer wherever we went. It was like a Bushttucker Trial. Long journey. That's showbiz.

I always thought it was going to be a game too far today - we played some top sides over the last couple of weeks and did better than anticipated. Still better off than most of us expected us to be at this stage.

Me an agent. Ha, I wish I was. I’d probably get paid a fair bit more than I currently earn...I’d also probably be the only football agent with a degree in animal welfare

Sake, we have had an excellent run of late, taking 8 points from four very tough fixtures over Christmas period. It had to end sometime. Will never accept this tiredness rubbish, all teams play the same number of games. Infact this squad are treat like prem players, which other clubs travel the day before, train, stay over, in this league cos going on yesterday it’s money wasted. This needs to stop, the cost must be ridiculous.

Go on then , what routes and times would you propose to get the team and it's equipment/ kits etc... to a place like Havant and back in a day.. I'm really interested in your thoughts as I guess the new Board would be as I'm sure expenditure must be top of the list of things to deal with at the moment
