Just tuning in to this now. Like everyone else, Thinking, great weather for football, big crowd, looking forward to the game etc etc, only to read this news... absolutely gutted on what was to be a big day for all at the football club.

That's crap. All the prep for this game, all the hard work up in smoke.

What an absolute knacker. Typical it's today, after all the hard work that's been done in recent weeks.

Yes I think the club will honour this. Thing is if it’s a Tuesday school night in February, we won’t see the same uptake on the free tickets which is a real pity. This was as much a day for attracting new fans and youngsters to the club and with the band event tonight etc, hospitality, etc, the club will lose out today for sure.

Sure the club will have a think about this situation this weekend but surely better to make the free under 16 tickets eligible for a certain Saturday fixture; as has been mentioned many won’t be able to take advantage when we play Dover on a Tuesday

Looking at the Realtime Trains website, the only train due to call at Lancaster which was adversely affected by the incident at Bletchley was the 09:30 departure from London Euston.

If that was the train they were traveling on, they were cutting it close, even if the train had been on time

There were trains out of London at 07:30 and 08:30 which they could have travelled on, so I have no sympathy with Dover if they face points deductions or sanctions from the NL or F.A. over this
