Players' contracts
Re: Players' contracts
The Otis we had on loan would without doubt be a great addition. Not sure how his career has panned out since though when I've seen televised clips always seems to be involved.
Re: Players' contracts
If Charlton think he's good enough, he's probably good enough for Barrow. But you know that.

Re: Players' contracts
More than likely Charlton Youth team? Does every player that plays for a higher club mean he’s good enough for us? Or is it just more boring obsession with a local lad?
Does that warrant a place in our side pushing Dixon? No.

Their first team squad actually, hence why it was blocked by the embargo.LewisBAFC1901 wrote: ↑Mon May 18, 2020 10:24 pmMore than likely Charlton Youth team? Does every player that plays for a higher club mean he’s good enough for us? Or is it just more boring obsession with a local lad?

How is it an obsession with a local lad? He is clearly a good player and has an affection for the area - if he was available, Evatt and any other club in this league would invite him for a trial.

Whenever he's become available in the past Accrington have been interested after they had him on loan for half a season earlier in his career.

Re: Players' contracts
I asked a Mansfield fan what happened with Khan, this was his response;-
Came in, Started well scored 2 on his debut I think, was doing well and got injured. Never got his place back and hasn't really broke in since. In the games he has played though he's not stood out a great deal, except pre season.
I'm assuming we will be releasing (eventually) quite a few players;- Hindle, Elsden, Waddington, Harrison and some others (maybe even Taylor and/or Granite) if we go up. Even if he was a squad player Khan would offer more than Hindle or Harrison.

He’s a free agent therefore would still be able to sign as a free transfer.. it’s going down hill hereMoribund wrote: ↑Mon May 18, 2020 11:07 pmTheir first team squad actually, hence why it was blocked by the embargo.LewisBAFC1901 wrote: ↑Mon May 18, 2020 10:24 pm

A quick google would tell you that you're wrong. Thanks for returning to the forum though.LewisBAFC1901 wrote: ↑Tue May 19, 2020 10:42 amHe’s a free agent therefore would still be able to sign as a free transfer.. it’s going down hill hereMoribund wrote: ↑Mon May 18, 2020 11:07 pm
