Interesting interview. Sounds like it was recorded at the trophy presentation last week. Wonder why they held the announcement back till today?

probably tying up paperwork at the Blackburn end. If you read the Tom White article Bolton had to wait until yesterday to announce that even though it was sorted a week ago.

I’d have put money on it that Evatt would’ve snapped him up if he could have...who would have thought the day would ever come where we signed a player that Bolton (more than likely) wanted.

Well done DD and BoDs, a fantastic signing.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Maybe the club are managing news, drip-feeding to a planned release?

Not gloating here, but I did say it was a done deal, just over the moon he's sticking with us, but take my word d Dunn was a massive factor in this, nice fella and [SwearFilter] nuts,

Good interview, came over really well. Think we have a star in the making. Seems really level headed too :scarf: :scarf:

Official window wasn't until Monday but perhaps MP wanted it sorted to save travelling back up on the Monday. He's away on holiday i believe so perhaps it clashed with that.
Bolton could only offer loan move as well, maybe the offer of a permanent move made the difference

Couldn't announce till Monday. As said above. No big mystery.

I was just thinking. We had D&D who brought us success and good times. Now we have DD. Could it be an omen ! Let's hope he can be as succesful. :scarf:

A very good signing but Bolton could not pay a fee.
Call me cynical but Matt Platt is given a contract then sold to us and White goes to Bolton on loan
Good acquisition but I wonder if I.E had told Mowbray to give MP a contract knowing we would sign him for a fee and hence White goes to Bolton as a thank you.
