Good news, it's just been clarified on Radio Cumbria it is Josh Lillis not Josh Kay

Absolutely aching for a win, but it won’t come in this game. Barrow 0 Walsall 3.

Barrow 0-3 Walsall

"Prediction? We have demonstrated that every game will yield a couple of defensive howlers on our part, leading to the need to exploit the scoring abilities of our strikers or, indeed, to encourage the kind of long range screamer that George Nurse let fly this week. On that basis we should be able to look forward to a 1-2 away win, with Dan Scarr and Elijah Adebayo scoring."

They have not won all season and Walsall have not lost, so classic Walsall experience says this is a nailed on Barrow win. :slightly_smiling_face:

I don’t think that though. Barrow are a nice tidy team. Play good football and doing things the right way. But not too much of a threat up front. I think they were lucky to get 3 against Bolton. They couldn’t finish off a 10 man Leyton Orient, which says a lot to Me

I also think they are vulnerable in defense. See goals conceded to Newport and Bolton and penalty conceded to Stevenage.

I would like to see DC pick a footballing side to match Barrow. Midfield of McDonald, Osadebe, Guthrie and Holden. I think we can out pass them and create lots of chances,

I’d give Eli a rest for this one too. Play Lavery and Scrimshaw who looks eager, and importantly, easy to identify with his blond mop.

I fancy a 1-2 Walsall win. I don’t think we can afford not to win with playing Cambridge on Tuesday.

Should be a good game. BUY YOUR PASS. SUPPORT YOUR TEAM

Former Premiere League ref Robert Madley in charge tomorrow.

Heart says 2-1 Barrow
Head says 2-0 Walsall

Going for our first win and clean sheet of the season today.

2-0 win if Quigley plays, 1-0 win if he doesn't.

Lived in the Walsall area for a few years and me and my son sorted of adopted Walsall to follow as my wifes family are all Villa fans! Went to see them fairly irregularly down the years and have always considered them a L1 club. They struggled to adjust to L2 last season but seem to be better equipped to deal with the rigours of the division this season. This is obviously the same for us which is why it is really all about survival this year and improving next year (I hope). I was really really looking forward to coming to this game for all the above reasons! Alsa not. I still feel Wlsall are the dark horses for promotion this year - i hope they make it. But my heart is always Barrow so I'm hoping for any sort of win for us (1-0 or 6-5 don't care) and Walsall to get promoted!!!!

Afraid so. Hope I'm wrong but can't see us winning or scoring without the missing players.
