My point is, you're calling people armchair fans (and subsequently denying it) for having a different opinion to us. I expected us to be comfortable in this league without challenging the top. I didn't expect to be combing over the table trying to figure out which two teams will be worse than us because we have a manager with a really small win percentage.

Thank you. All I’m saying is as supporters we have a right to be upset results aren’t going our way but I think calling for Dunn’s removal is going to disrupt the club in its first year back and also have a financial burden on the club, and now is not the year for it with no fans for a third of the season. None of us are better qualified than Dunn so just believe in what he’s doing and we will be in the same division next year

What is he doing exactly? His signings are poor his tactics are worse and how an earth can you say we'll stay in this division with him in charge? It must be blind faith as it sure as hell is nothing to do with his 15% career win ratio as a manager

Doesn't seem to be much balance around here lately. Some people believe staying up is not good enough and we should be mid table at least and others believe things are fine and it'll all come good if we carry on putting faith in what we currently see week in week out.

Of the 13 league points we have acquired so far this season, eight of them came in the four games between October 20th and 31st (Bolton, Walsall, Mansfield and Bradford). Is it any coincidence that this was also around the time of DD's enforced absence due to having to self isolate ?

Dunn was in the dugout for both of our wins

If I thought DD and RK had lost the dressing room I'd be worried but everything I see from the players suggests they are still united and all want to do better. Scott Quigley was absolutely gutted after last night. Dunn on his own might have me more worried but with Rob Kelly I still think they've got enough to pull it around. Change the management team now? Not for me.

Although, I think the personal abuse that David Dunn is getting on here is pathetic, I've seen enough to realise that he is a long way from being another Ian Evatt in managerial ability. All things being equal in terms of finances, I don't think he would have many matches left to turn the team around (Mansfield certainly improved as soon as they changed manager) but in the current environment I don't think things are anything like normal and I very much doubt that we could afford to change manager even if the board decided it should make a change.

1. Player Motivation
I don't believe Evatt would have tolerated some of the performances we've sen this season. I watched him on the touchline at the matches I attended last season and he often went ballistic when standards dropped below what he expected.

2. Player Recruitment
Evatt generally looked for young, quick players with the potential to improve. Dunn has generally brought in veterans who are well past their best. The only signing we have brought in this season of the type Evatt recruited is James Jones who, IMO, is the only player likely to improve the team to a great degree and he was from a club 2 levels below but was a youngster with lots of potential. I saw several players moving between National League clubs and from National League clubs to EFL 2 clubs who would have been much better than the players we signed.

3. Team Tactics
You watched Barrow last season and they played in an almost identical way in every match. Even when playing badly we were solid with the back 3 getting good protection fron the wingbacks and midfield. This season we are all over the place with forwards ending up in midfield like Reid did at times last night, Quigley has done in at least one home match and James often does.

Ideally we don't want a change of management at ANY time, especially.not now with the financial implications of this year (any year really but especially with very little income at the moment). But to warrant not changing the management, the management has to change something about the team (tactics, recruitment, training, whatever) because as it is, it's not working.
I still think they have the squad available to do better. But that squad needs managing better and improving one way or the other.

Might be a bit leftfield but any thoughts on the more experienced Kelly taking the reins with Dunn switching to a coaching role ?

Yes, I'd like to see Reid and Sea given more of a crack, yes, the formation might need to change to shore things up and finally, yes, we do need a more forward-looking midfielder signed in January. But I think Dunn/Kelly have enough nous to do something about it. I also think the board (which includes a Trust director) will be much closer to what's happening in the dressing room and in the wider club to take an informed decision should the time come to take action.

Obviously things aren’t working out as we hoped. Our first year back after 48 years out,we recruit a rookie manager,a gamble I know.it isn’t working. We now have people suggesting Hird Be given the job, now someone suggest our assistant is given the job, get [SwearFilter] real please. In our current situation, we need a manager of experience in the league.

was that the "informed decision " on how he was appointed come on people need to stop saying we'll turn it around please can anyone explain how because it seems to be going the opposite in mine and a lot of people's eye's!
