I’m amazed that people in this day and age think there is anything like loyalty involved in football, if a player wants to go, even if on a contract (and fancy speeches) it pretty much means nothing.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Thought Hutton was ace today, looks like a decent signing
Why was he the only one that he did not want to risk, call me cynical but is that not what they do before you sell a player?
I may be wrong .
He wasn't we didnt risk burns or Jones either

Christ Quigley misses a game v holker and all of a sudden half of Britain is signing him.

He's on a long contract, and I don't think anyone in the current climate would bid what we would hypothetically want, I don't think he's going anywhere and don't believe he wants to tbh. Idle gossip.

He didn’t want to risk himself hence the reason he’s not training and refusing to play as he doesn’t want to get injured as he’s pushing for a move.
His release clause in his contract is £150k

Aye, Cooper is all business - doesn't really seem to enjoy interviews. Polar opposite of Evatt who undoubtedly loved the sound of his own voice.

Cooper doesn’t mince his words, he previously said Barry looked like he was leaving and he did. I didn’t hear anything of this sort related to Quigley yesterday

But yeah agree with Ian, there is no loyalty, unless maybe a player was born n bread barrovian

One was at another club then got injured and Jones was dropped at the later stages.
Scott never missed a game , hopefully I am wrong but he risked alot of new talent yesterday.

Tbh it will be a disaster if the £150k release clause is true; think we’d have got more than that for him (if he actually is leaving)

Does Boaby Burns have a release clause? Be a disaster if he stays, I mean, leaves.

Brad Barry was not under contract I do not think?
If so what was the fee ?
Quigley is .
Let's see if he plays in the next friendlies.
If not a statement will be made.
I would not be surprised if he ends up at Bolton no matter what was agreed with Evatt , they have a connection.
Hitler told Chamberlin he would not invade the Sudetenland that went well.
On the Bolton Forum they are saying they need another forward and the money they have should be used for that.
Evatt quite cleverly never renewed Dixons contract so he could go on a free.
I never bet but I think he is off and if we get a decent fee we will have to accept it.
I will get the usual bricks but it's a forum, I am hoping I will get stick because he is still here and I got it wrong.
Your most consistent player does not play in the first game something smells in the state of Denmark and its not the cheese.

Did Hitler say Quiggs wouldn't sign for Bolton?

If Quiggs is refusing to train or play, it means he is in Breach of contract so Barrow dont have to pay him.

The Soviets said the Aral Sea would be fine when they diverted its tributaries for irrigation purposes to aid their cotton production. Didn’t go so well did it? Where we going with this again? Oh yeah, I have in my hand a piece of paper, it says Quiggs is staying. I just wrote it.
I wanna take you to an Away Bar
