Re: Barrow v Sc****orpe match thread
Yes at last we have a midfield who can control the pace. Looked really good tonight across the middle. Banks with space to pick his passes.
Pleasing thing for me- we are building from the back, patient, comfortable moving the ball across the pitch, some good movement off the ball, positive early signs we are looking a lot better and organised than this time last season.
And..... we have a keeper who lets his defence know if he’s not happy!
Great goal by Sea.
Still searching for the Young Soul Rebels

Really solid and quite exciting performance. Zanzala looks the business. Sea improving ; Banks and Devitt look like the players we expected them to be last year. And Tom White is class .

Very encouraging performance, and everyone had a good game. Deserved winners. Sea was very athletic, and deserved MOM. Ellis, Banks and White not far behind.

Great performance tonight, much improved.Really enjoyed the way the whole team played and never let up.Fantastic goal from Dimitri Sea and then Zanzala nearly scores when he comes on. I now have a good feeling that at last all the pieces are starting to fall into place.Onwards and upwards.

Decent performance tonight against a Scun thorpe team that rarely threatened. Well taken goal by Sea who was given MOM but mine was Banks. A much improved player this season and is an important cog in our machine. Zanzala was a handful when he came on but I still think we need another striker. Arthur seemed off the pace tonight but overall just happy to get a win. Didn't expect a bigger crowd but I think it will more or less double on Saturday.

Highlight for me was Banks and White in the middle. Dare I say had hints of the way Evatt had us playing from time to time. But thought Scunthorpe were mediocre and we’ve still a long way to go.

Some decent performances last night, Banks & White as already said, but I thought Ellis was very solid and will hopefully prove to be a worthy captain. Promising signs.

Experience of Ellis and Farman at the back probably would've helped preventing those many late goals we conceded last season.HenneysKnee wrote: ↑Wed Aug 11, 2021 7:23 amVery much so, don’t think he stops bellowing out orders for the full 90 minutes
