😆 Mansfield v Wrexham.
New media obsession with Wrexham at least means Hereford don't get a mention any more.

Remember the days when we’d be creaming ourselves about getting a L1 side away in the cup. Shows how much we've progressed I suppose.

Just heard on RC that it'll probably be a lunchtime kick-off due to Northampton Rugby having a game on the same day.

In truth the romance of the FA Cup for a L1/2 side starts at the 3rd round and always did. The only way we would ever have seen a first round trip to Northampton as much more than a probable waste of money would have been back in the Non league days when a trip to Northampton would have been seen as nirvana by comparison with a wet Saturday afternoon in Eastleigh or Dover or Gateshead.

That media obsession won't last long during the FA Cup. They'll be dumped out at Mansfield :D

with the FA cup game drawing closer, i have looked at the Televised games for that weekend.
Is it still possible that our game could be on TV ?
we are the only early FA Cup game on saturday the 3rd being played before 3pm.
Bromley v Blackpool (17-45pm) and Mansfield v Wrexham (19-45pm) being the evening TV games.
Sunday has 3 games televised at 12-15, 14-15 and 17-30.
Why not have 3 games televised on the saturday ?

Pretty sure we are making the same point here…..
