Postponement: Gillingham

Our SkyBet League Two fixture due to take place against Gillingham tomorrow has been called off.

Having conducted a pitch inspection at the SO Legal Stadium earlier this afternoon we can confirm that the pitch has been deemed unplayable in its current state.

To avoid travelling fans travelling up coming up we’ve made the decision to call off tomorrow’s game to give fans plenty of notice.

A rearranged date for the fixture, and ticket information for that match will be released in due course.

A bit wet.

That was a day or two ago, today it didn’t look like it would’ve taken much rain for it to flood….and that was before the rain we’re getting now. The garage corner was a bigger concern as well.

Looking at that water, I would say the the 'Gills' would be appropriate.

Is there a problem with the drainage system?
