Gotts (played 5 games) and Mahoney especially (played 3 games) are really going to feel like new signings considering the recent weeks and we’re 10 games in, both of them coming back in to the fold will be a huge boost for team morale and selection/tactical options. Then Farms and Naz will be back and we will be flying at full strength. We’ve managed to keep pace with the front runners with the injuries so far, so things look rosey for when they return.

Though I imagine other joint-toppers probably feel they same with injuries they have had too.

Most of the league are front runners! The 12 teams at the top are covered by 5 points and I'd bet that the Chesterfield (the 12th) will finish above most of the teams currently ahead of that. You can almost certainly make that 13 teams as Wimbledon who are only 6 points behind have played 3 games less than most of the top 12.

I can’t find a reason not to agree with you there, Russell. It looks like it’s gonna be a proper contest this season with many challengers.
