Would be more than happy with that but even if Evatt does get sacked I can’t see him dropping back to the bottom of league 2.
Late goal probably gave Ian an extra life at Bolton.
I know Ian deserves the opportunity but I still think another season or two would have done him the world of good! Bolton despite being in league two at the time are a big big club and yeh, he's done good but I think taking us that bit further he could have gotten a better gig so to speak. He will never go backward after his stint with them so any hopes must surely be muted right away!
I think we need an old skool manager that can motivate and instill belief because right now, that's exactly what's needed. Similar to the lads that took us on that amazing run to take us out of the northern league... That was old skool management and it works! As daft as it sounds, we get the right person and we could still make a playoff place because the league is that way out this season.

Despite all the great things the BOD have done, I’m truly sorry but they are part of the problem. They need to act NOW before it’s too late.
The writings been on the wall for months with SC the supporters concerns being totally ignored.
The only thing building for SC is PRESSURE and it ain’t going away anytime soon. Please put the lad out of his misery and move on. Whether we like it or not we need fresh management in to release the pressure from the team and get them performing.

I just don't feel clemence has ever integrated with the fans like wild did, I don't feel any sort of connection to him. Seems a nice bloke but not the gritty working class fight for everything attitude that serves clubs like Barrow well. Players need a rocket up them, he can't take all the blame but the writings on the wall and he needs to go tonight

We have moved away from having an old school Manager. Footballing affairs are headed up by the Sporting Director, working collaboratively with the coach, identifying player targets and leaving the Head coach to do the coaching. That is the direction the club has taken.

Evatt and Sam Hird for me.
The board can't risk relegation after all they've done for the club.
I don't care if he's a nice guy our fans deserve better. He just told Adam that he won't walk so he's basically telling the board to make a decision.
Evatt knew how to motivate and build a united club with everyone pulling together. We need that perfect storm again.
Make it happen.
Fan protest needed at next home match if nothing happens in between times.

Wood is in charge of all footballing matters, and having a big influence on the Board.
THAT is your problem.

I’m not sure Evatt would want to come back personally; think he would think he can get a bigger job, I’d love it to happen but just can’t see it

Would agree if we were championship or premier League but we are league two!
It's a rough old league as is league one and I get what you are saying but this division needs a big pair of balls and leadership not tippy happy football

You can have that with a coach, A coach doesn't have to be tippy tappy and i don’t think for a minute the board see that as the footballing blue print for Barrow. Good football for me is tough tackling, fast transition, direct counter with pace. …Hang on we had that didn't we?
