There’ll be another visit to the ground this Sunday for anyone interested.
It’d be nice to see a few new/extra faces to help us out If the weather holds we’ll have another burger van to demolish....so you definitely don’t need any particular skill set to help the club on these Sunday mornings. Plenty of other projects in the go as well, something for anyone.

It’s getting down to the same six/eight people every other week once again. If we can’t attract a few extra volunteers we simply can’t take on many of the jobs the club would like us to, it’ll be the smaller stuff and even they will take much longer.
These projects save the club a considerable amount of cash, cash which can then be used on other things...including loanees I guess.

We really need a few extra volunteers to help take some of the burden off the regulars, again, you don’t have to become a regular but if you could spare a few hours every now & then it would massively help us & the club out.

With so many fans going to the away game today I doubt any will be in a fit state to turn up tomorrow Ian especially when we win.
We will just soldier on and do as much as we can. Every little helps.

Id just like to thank everyone for making me feel welcome for my first Sunday session this morning, it was a good way to work off the celebratory hangover from yesterday... definitely worthwhile going for those who haven't been before, every little helps for the club that we all love...and even as a long term fan, I didn't realise quite how much the volunteers help keep the club afloat, i will definitely be attending more from now on and encourage more people to join in a Sunday morning! Thanks again guys

Well that was a pretty decent turnout in the end, twelve or thirteen volunteers really make a difference.

Just as we were about to start demolishing the old burger van a knight in shining armour, with a big beard offered to take the whole thing away and dismantle it at his lock-up. That saved a whole mornings work.
New lights were fitted in the rather dim corporate room corridor along with a bit of signage.
The new worktop was fitted in the ticket office making it much more professional looking and better for those who use it to work in.
The ground was not only litter picked but the litter was separated into rubbish and recyclable items. The lads then took the recyclable stuff to the tip. For the items that the tip don’t recycle some of the lads took it home to recycle it that way.
Everyone had a good chat at brew time with Mark Hetherington & Rob Graham about various things in the pipeline and about yesterday’s result.

Great mornings effort by everyone, very enjoyable.

With a big attendance expected on Saturday there's going to be lots of tidying up to be done Sunday morning. Terracing & Stand will need a good few bodies to help tidy them up. There's paving slabs to be laid, work in the Press Box, Corporate corridor, Laundry room and car park to be done. If the weather's bad there's plenty of work under the stand. Basically plenty of work for anyone and everyone, please reply asap so we can plan jobs and order food
