There you go! Most forum members moaned about your BoD's lack of communication, their motives, their lack of anything constructive, when asked 'where are we going?'

The most positive and admirable thing I've seen here is the Ground Maintenance project progressed by the real grass roots of your supporters, with next to nowt forthcoming in terms of praise, assistance or wherewithal from the aforementioned 'Directors'. However, it is patently obvious that these hard working chaps and chapesses cannot even scratch the surface, let alone the onlookers, or the Keens, if asked to purchase the Club.

Mr. Casson is a Barrovian with a soft heart for his Native place of birth. He has now had 2 goes at saving the Club. No other buyer has come forward.

Take this one while you can. As I posted earlier, FGR have seen at least 2 and half seasons of further worry free football, rather than final extinction, which at the end of this current season, sounds about right for Barrow AFC reading between the lines.

Sorry, but that's out of order. The board work really closely with the maintainance lads and give all the support and praise they can. Two of us are very involved with the group.

He hasn't had two goes, because he's never put a formal offer in!

Apologies U/P. But it appears to me, that prior to your recent election to the board, 'next to nowt' happened. Keep up the good work.

I think the thing we are guilty of is not shouting about what we do. That's slowly changing

Maybe we all need to move to the Cotswolds to get a worldy understanding and to open our minds to life beyond J36. You live in a nice place FA but don't give us the line that you need to move to change the outlook on life. What rubbish. The fans here want the best for the club and from what has happened previously are right to be cautious.

If your man pulled out tomorrow would there be sufficient income from crowds and other revenue streams to continue as you are? If so- fair play- he's built a platform for sustainability.

Regarding the question/statement by FA, We have had some very positive words off the BoDs (and players & manager) about the work the volunteers do.
Three board members have been quite actively involved as well, Steve Patten was very helpful early on helping us to clear the area under the main stand. We never even had a wheelbarrow back then but he turned up on several occasions with his pick-up truck to move stuff to the skip.

John M is down the ground most Sundays mucking in with everyone else.

Peter looks after our account & he gets pesterd by me continually when we need cash or cheques making out.

Plus TK has offered the use of his workshop for any jobs that we don't have the equipment for in the GMA.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

TFT U/P. Cannot one or both of the Keens join/post on your forum though?

Our Mr. Vince has no qualms about keeping in touch via that method, regarding updates/clarification to speculation on our forum.

I have lived in lots of places other than Barrow (although Paisley and its environs haven't featured in a cultural world tour ;) )

Lots of folk (me included) would like this deal to go through but want to know a bit more before we commit the whole club- common sense I reckon

I'd like to ask Fartvs Antiqvvs about the debts and ground valuation.
Again the last ground valuation was 600K and that was 4 years ago and PC has only offered 250K - would FA sell his house for 42% of its value?
Why does he think its ok to just forget about over 250K of debt as well as the FA Rules which will block the transfer because the debts aren't being paid?

I notice he's completely ignoring this?

You should always tell the support of the many good things you do, otherwise how are we to know, then the forum is left with whispers & rumors when we could be congratulating the bod for their efforts instead of bemoaning the lack off it, common sense, surely?
We don't need to know the ins & out of a fart, just explain to us some of the behind the scenes good work every now & then.

Its good PR & helps relations with your fanbase & would give us a better understanding of the things they do, increase the goodwill & lower the snipes etc
