Childish springs to mind.
Yep.
Azalea is consistently childish and childlike.
Impossible to take seriously on that basis.

Edmo managed Workington in 12/13
Hiddink was in permo charge of Anzhi
Gary Monk was still a player
Di Matteo had been sacked by Chelsea.
Christ! Do it right man!
You still here?
The point is, it's not unique - it's very, very common indeed.
Now you come up with a list of 15 caretaker managers from the 2012/13 season who were told they had no chance of getting the job?
(Not really, as I probably won't read it, and I'd hate to waste your time)
It's pretty unique for a managing director to come out and say if he gets it right we will give him the job (that bits common), but if he doesn't get it right we will give him a few more weeks so that he can get it right (that's unique) - IF HE DOES SHIT HE GETS TO CARRY ON!
We have picked up 4 points from 2 home games against poor opposition and an away game against a newly promoted team having sacked the last manager for not doing well. Beggars belief how far some people have their heads in the sand.

If this is the quote you are referring to, then I can't believe how badly you've interpreted it: “If (Micky) goes out, they put three really strong performances together (against Tranmere, Guiseley and Torquay) and look like the team we thought they could be, then we might come to a decision. If it's a bit up and down, then you might wait an extra couple of weeks."
How I read it (as it is the only rational interpretation) is that if things seem to have clicked after three games, then sign him up. If it looks like it could click and a few things need to improve, they'll sit back and see if that happens.
Beggars belief how people can see negativity where there isn't any.

You're right, it's entirely believable.

Couldn't disagree more and how I read it is, if things are a bit up and down (I.e not going well) we will let Moore continue for a few more weeks.
If we keep waiting we will be 1/4 of the way through the season and if we haven't improved by then we could chuck away the whole season.
If losing a manager for delivering 3rd round fa cup, our highest league finish for over 30 years for not being good enough and then carrying on with an average assistant, who has only won 1 in 3 against 3 v. Poor teams as interim isn't a negative situation I don't know what is.

Who is this last manager that got sacked? I seem to recall that the last manager was Paul Cox and he resigned.

I don't think anyone will doubt what Paul Cox did for the club, but I don't see how you can write Micky Moore off as an "average assistant" already.
An "Average Assistant" who has won 1 in 3 games, two of which were played after 1 day with the players (In the immediate aftermath of Cox leaving too). The game on Saturday, especially the first half, was the best I have seen Barrow play in ages. And that was after the first (almost) full week of training with MM.
By your reasoning, Paul Cox was a manager who won 1 in 5 after several weeks + pre season with them.

Edmondson was sacked. If you followed the club fully you would know that?

I have noted on many other topics that the start we have had has been pretty poor - I'm not denying that, but neither is that my point.
My point is Moore is an average interim - his interviews haven't struck me as awe inspiring and the games last week were truly appalling. On top of that we have delivered two very poor results and a decent win albeit against a poor BW.
What track record has Moore got - serious question? Has he managed to get a team out of this league, has a built a club off the field, has he ever worked lots of money (or alternatively a shoe string budge), what is his recruitment like? Has he a track record of imprinting a philosophy and improving players? Serious question - I don't know if Moore has any of these skills.

You do realise the sentence "If it's a bit up and down" has the word 'up' in it, right?
Where does it say "if he does shit we'll let him carry on for a bit anyway"?
The two options are (as already stated, and already obvious to everyone else): Moore does well in three games, gets the job OR Moore does okay but could do better, given a few weeks to try and get it right.
The rest of your post is [SwearFilter].

I agree the first half against Maidenhead was poor (coincidentally the first half of football after Cox's departure) but I thought the second half wasn't bad at all.
With Fylde, if we put one of those first half chances away we probably win the game, though the second half was poor I agree.
As for BW being a poor side, they beat Aldershot, put 4 past Solihull and Torquay and were 2-0 up at Tranmere before they got pegged back late on.
They were also the top scorers in the league before Saturday I believe, and bar one mistake from Moore for their goal we limited them to almost nothing.
Regarding his track record, I believe he did well for Solihull before he was head hunted to work with Cox at Mansfield, and wasn't it Micky Moore who had the contacts to get Adi Yussuf from Grimsby?
I'm not suggesting he is some sort of footballing god who is the answer to all of our prayers but based on Saturdays performance, let's at least give him a chance!

If we are going to go down this route I hope it that we go for Moore/Bignot as joint managers. I can't see Bignot staying long if he was to be an assistant. He will get a decent gig at a club in this league so it might be worth dangling the joint manager job carrot in front of him. Even if it was only a title it might give us that bit more security of other clubs starting sniffing around. This could all be for nothing in a few weeks of course if we appoint someone else.
