Would love a proper wildcard signing like that tabor, scores all types of goals from some of the clips I’ve seen of him. The amount he scores must translate to something at a higher level surely. A gamble yes but so is signing garner and Telford on decent dough

"Courier Sport understands the fee to be £33,000 up front, possibly rising to £100,000 if add-ons are met."

Blimey, looks like it's true. Nearer for me to go and watch him than HS

Tabor plays at the same level as local James Bailey. Why wouldn’t we just go and get the local goal scoring machine who loves the area
Bizzare
Maybe Tabor is a better player?

Interesting update. Would be a gamble but what signing isn't. As for the James Bailey argument how do we know he hasn't already been watched and assessed or even if he wants to go into the full-time game. Add to the fact also that until the clubs infastructure and facilities are vastly upgraded chances for local players are unfortunately always going to be limited. Newby and Stanway both had to move away to kick start their careers.

I think there is a lot of truth in that Skip. Other clubs have their own processes and methods for dealing with prospects emerging from lower levels. These don’t generally involve giving them a contract just on the off chance. They will expect to see progression through movement and see the talent in different environments before biting. Especially if these clubs are in the lower parts of the EFL.
We, for a number of reasons have determined to take these risks. But you have to be very good at it and very lucky.

Rumours we’ve put a contract offer to Tabor. This lad obviously knows where the net is and with full time training he could make the grade. Time will tell if there’s anything in this rumour.

All the teams seem to be back at training but us. Any reason?
