I was told after Wakeling signed there was a possibility of 2 more coming in so hopefully a centre half and even I'd be happy!

If thats an ITK hint would be very interestinhg. Currently nearing the end of a seven match ban for an alleged homophobic remark (denied) whille playing for Tranmere. More significantlly Walsall have only picked up one point during his absence.

Would be surprised if Walsall let him go, as you say they were a far better side with him in it

We needed a experienced target man up front, we’ve got one.
We needed a experienced centre back who is strong in the air and can also lead the back line, we’ve got one.
With Rooney coming in as well for more creativity (and goals hopefully) from midfield the squad looks in a much better place than it did a week ago.
Credit to the board once again for providing the financial backing
