We’ve had a prolonged Christmas break Neil

We’ll be back at it this weekend so I’ll take a few photos then but as we’ve finished the bigger jobs before Christmas it’ll take a while for anything new to pop up worthwhile looking at, apart from one job we’re three quarters of the way through.

This area is behind the family stand, the club were keen to fit in an outside bar in so asked us to come up with a plan for it.

The back worktop area is where the club will serve up the hot dogs from. The pumps went in a week ago and should be ready to use after next weekend. Water connected, water heater fitted and sink ready to use. Still quite a few finishing touches to go in yet such as the plastic ceiling, lighting and sockets
I think the plan is for the future - and so long as this area makes money to have a more permanent bar such as the one in the away supporters corner.

The shelter in front of the bar will eventually have the broken Perspex replaced and then get shifted to the far wall by the refreshment hut, it’ll then have some lean-to tables fitted.

Two visits but that’s the X Bar paths broken and loose flagstones all repaired or replaced, at the same time just making it look neater and more tidy.

The shelter has now been repaired after a lot of the Perspex was smashed in a storm last year. It’s also been moved away from the bar area and placed by the refreshment hut to give a bit of shelter for those who use the hut in that corner.
