@spirit of 1990 would it possible to ask the club to put a few buckets of water or wipes in the stand then we can clean our own seat?

Full of bird shit were we sit.

Not ideal is it?

We had (as you could see on previous photos) a very healthy amount of people down for the last two weeks - that’s Sundays and Wednesdays. Many, probably half of them were cleaning the pop side of huge amounts of pigeon crap and weeds on the terraces two foot high - that’s no word of a lie. We also had two people cleaning seats on the Steelworks end, It’s frustrating that we couldn’t get around to the main stand seats but that’s just the way it is….and as we always say, we’re always after new volunteers even though we probably have more now than ever before, that’s fantastic but the amount of work that always needs doing doesn’t seem to get smaller.

Perhaps the club could get someone in to do the main stand seats before the next friendly, definitely before the season starts.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

This has really annoyed me because there is no excuse for the club to allow the terraces and seating to get into this state. Its an annual post season battle but there shouldn't be so much reliance on the band of hard working volunteers. Yes, great that so many fans have renewed and club shirt sales going well, 125 year celebrations etc, but don't forget to keep on top of the annual bird and weed issue. Is there a local grime busing contractor (used in town by Barrow BiD) that an annual close season maintenance of the terraces and seats could be used? All the hard work that goes in but these are things that should be taken care of without so much reliance on the volunteers who work tirelessly to help out.

A couple of before and after of the home changing rooms.

This was our biggest job over the summer, they were obviously needed for the home friendlies which was the added pressure on everyone. It wasn’t helped by two hold-ups early on which became a big worry. Anyway, we managed it - just!

The signage was done to Adam Murray’s requests by Graphix Signs.

The phrase "playing at the speed of trust" typically refers to the organizational and leadership principles popularized by Stephen M.R. Covey in "The Speed of Trust". It highlights that when trust is high, communication and collaboration improve, reducing the "trust taxes" that slow down productivity and increasing "trust dividends"

In a football context i guess that means when the players trust each other they play more as a team - or something like that?

Should be a principle used everyday in what the club do from top to bottom and a mantra adopted by all associated within the club from herein.

That looks first class and well done to everyone involved.
Love the quotes and hope it does inspire the players.

Did anyone leave a decent pair of sunglasses in the main stand yesterday?

I have the with me now but will try and get down the ground tomorrow and leave them there.
