I think a ‘no confidence’ vote if proposed would logically be carried but what then? The BoD resigns and that’s the end of us. That’s the only reason no one would propose it in the first place.
At present there is not a lot of hope for our little club; there is only relegation, meltdown and liquidation on the horizon. The people still owed money by the club will get a percentage as creditors and for them that will be better than nothing. For the rest we will have to try and organise our own rebirth and start again.
With the withdrawal of the Mystery Investor I think we lost our last chance of survival and unless an organisation like the Furness Building Society come in and do a professional community asset based takeover...well...I can’t write the rest.

And we know nothing about them, or their motives but they say they're still interested so we carry a vote of "no confidence" through and then what?
When you think about it, it's much of a plan it is it?

The BOD were quite happy to court them until they realised they would not be getting all their money back

Still doesn't answer the question though.

Perhaps a bit of openess by the board would put us in the picture. Despite the "confidentiality clause" we should be given some information about the collapse of the "takeover".
What is the point of being a member of the club?

I'd rather us go bang and start again. I and a few others would much rather watch a side starting at the bottom of the pyramid than watching a club flatline that's lost it's identity with me.

Listen Tinman and Scarecrow, Kansas may exist, but there is certainly no yellow brick road and the only thing at the end of the rainbow is a car park!!

Probably got it right there mate, you and a "FEW" others.Majority would prob like us to fight tooth and nail to get what we want from this league and onward. We need a good manager who can motivate. That will be a good starting point.

Maybe you're right. I've no idea what the missing 1000 punters think.

Majority of who?
I'm with Benj on this to a point.
I wouldn't want to see us voluntarily just start again from the bottom but I could handle us dropping another division whilst we made some fundamental changes.
That said, I don't think making fundamental changes necessarily means that we have to drop again.

That would be the ideal solution but we don't live in an ideal world.
