For someone with the means and motivation, £20 for each voter isn't going to deter them!

It's not a lot per person but I think we have about 500 members? To alter the vote by just 5% you'd need to sign up 25 people - that's £500, and of course 25 willing accomplices. To really guarantee derailing anything then you'd need at least double that, which is £1,000 and 50 people. A rich person with sufficient motivation would be able to get the money, but they'd struggle to find 50 people willing to go along with it without word getting out!
