Dixon had [SwearFilter] all chance today. The defence were an absolute shambles and might as well have held him down.

Agree, Dixon could do nothing about them goals.
Even made a few good saves especially during that goalmouth scramble

Then we pass it about on the deck and go 3-1 up then [SwearFilter] it clear and invite more pressure on and lose 4-3.

Dispite that mad 15 minutes we deserved nothing from this game, if we had won this game it would bot have been deserved amd the cracks in the side would have been masked until next week.

Does Simon Grand have any other pass than long ball? Answer me that and you could win a cruise

Same old problems. We probably deserved a draw overall but two goals to the good with so little time left you've got to hold on for the victory. Incredibly tedious game up to our penalty which seemed to wake everyone up (probably their keeper acting like a total jeb end). Was never going to be a good game of football with that pitch. Everyone can see what's needed before next season so no point in harping on about it really. Let's see what the January transfer window brings and hopefully build a more solid team for the rest of this season.

Noteworthy was the amazing about turn by their fans calling for the mangers head to acting like they won the FA cup in about three minutes. Bless.

It was embarrassing at the time and remains so, should be a minimum requirement at any club, it shouldn't need stating in public, it should be taken as a given

Agree completely. Play route one all game and hoof it clear when there was better options on the deck, but also, when we did actually need to hoof it clear they tried to play out all of a sudden and lose possession in our own third.

Like Cox's said in interview, at 3-1 you don't expect to even draw let alone loose. He talked about mentality and what we got in those last 8 minutes was the same old Barrow under Edmo. If it was Barrow 3-1 down heads would have dropped and it could have been worse. Credit to Tranmere they stuck to their game and kept going despite it looking a lost cause. It paid off for them.

Sounds like today's game has probably brought to an end the assessment of some players. Hopefully Cox has seen enough to know what he needs to do, like he said, time for action.

No excuse but not sure where did the ref get 5mins of added time from, you normally expect 3mins with all 6 subs in one half but one of them was in the 1st half. Don't recall either physio coming on or the game being stopped. The only thing that happened was the arguing over Barrow's penalty when the Tranmere keeper came out and tried to face off right in front of Walker. Playing long balls to no one with another 5 mins to go was asking for them come forward and score.

Absolutely unacceptable. Even at 3-1 we were very, very poor, and would not have deserved the points had we held out. I can't remember ever seeing an away team come to Holker Street and be handed so much control of the centre of the park. Their central midfielders picked up everything completely unchallenged, with acres of free space. We just stood off them and let them run the show. Also, Tranmere must have won 80% of second ball. I don't like sticking the boot into individual players, but David Mellor is unfit, and nowhere near sharp enough or tough enough to play at this level. He has no composure, no vision and most of the time can't even hit a cross past the first man. Several other players hardly covered themselves in glory, but we lost that game in the centre of the field. Niall Cowperthwaite must also share some of the criticism. What makes me angrier than anything else is that under Paul Cox I expected the team to at the very least be competitive in the middle and play a hard pressing game, but we are just not competing. Some credit has to go to Tranmere for fighting their way back into the game so late - their attitude was spot on - but really, we were disgraceful. Coxy has a big, big job on his hands.

You do stop the clock between the ball going in and the kick off taking place. Yeah, there weren't a lot of incidents or obvious time-wasting, but the ball also cleared the stands a few times, and what not. I know you said it's not an excuse, but I think anyone aggrieved at that is clutching at straws. Officials were pretty good towards us today, and the blame lies squarely with Cox and his "play it long down the channel" tactics and the 7 or 8 players that couldn't be bothered today. And if we knew how to time-waste properly, we might not have walked away pointless.
