My Dad lives in York and he came to watch the game today on the York supporters coach, so I'm doubly disgusted with this.

Unfortunately Ann,stones/bricks etc are plentyful on the ground.
There are dispersal orders that can be issued now when yobs loitering in the vicinity without just cause when crowds going to disperse from events. Not sure of exact criteria but may be a useful tool against these stupid kids

Find them, arrest them, lump them with a custodial sentence and ban them from leaving home on a match day at the ned of it .... don't want them anywhere near HS... there seems to be a small group intent on causing trouble at occasional games .. obviously known to Police, so instead of folk sticking up for them saying the law is being heavy handed etc, let them do their job and single these thugs out.

That's a good point. Loads of people have these now. Let's catch them and shame them. Scum.

Same bunch of idiots who meet in the tally ho before most games. Cops normally have a word with them in the tally ho car park before every game and then they watch them walk right into the ground. Why don't some of the older fans just give them a good slap and tell them to [SwearFilter] off?as the cops do [SwearFilter] all about the little chav [SwearFilter]

Just a reminder folks. This is a public football forum and not a courtroom or vigilante group. We can't have people publicly posting names/accusations on here, so keep those out of discussions on here please.

Wasn't saying they should fight, was saying if they think and want to be hard men then they shouldn't throw rocks at buses.

I know what I mean. :D

Biggest problem in all this will be the comeback from the York end towards our away fans at the return game

Throwing bricks at buses is a not on but at the same time various groups of York fans in recent seasons have come to Barrow and tried it on ,do not forget they threw wood, coins, bottles and stones on women and children from the Steelworks end a couple of years ago.Why was there no police escort for the buses to Dalton? We have a 'history' when we play York and I can understand the large police escort but why was one of the buses allowed to enter town at 11.00 and by all accounts go around town provoking people? The culprits when found will be dealt with and at the same time found out to have not attend the match or planned to,both sets of supporters must now say enough is enough, for what ever happens to Barrow fans at York will only be repeated when we play them at home again.(if we do not get promoted :scarf: )
