We have friends who live close by, so a replay will do me, a few beers and I can blag an overnight stay with them to celebrate an away victory

Been there, done that, got the t-shirt. Only in our case it was being moved from Lancashire into the new creation of Cumbria back in 1974 with the boundary changes brought about in the 1972 Local Government Act.
I think quite a few Barrovians still write 'Barrow-in-Furness, Lancashire' on the envelope when posting mail to an address in the town.

We'll win 3.2. They'll get a fella (harshly) sent off around 55 minutes. It'll be cold and most likely rain. They'll talk about it for years and years.

Yes, quite a few of the older Barrovians do seem to be overcome with nostalgia when addressing mail, patriotic nonsense in my opinion.
I do think the government of the day back then missed a trick though in terms of Carlisle. It should have moved the border ever so slightly south and put Carlisle in Scotland where it belongs really, then Carlisle United could have joined the Scottish League and been a big fish in a small pond rather than the other way around, and at the same time keeping clubs in the south happy at not having to make that gargantuan journey to the borders of Scotland.
Barrow 1-3 Dale.

Thick fog scheduled all day tomorrow. I hope that doesn't affect things too much.
Come on Barrow!
1-1 I reckon.

Lawro thinks it will be 1-1 with a defeat in the replay:

Think a lot will have to do with our team's mental agility after our unbeaten run came to an end last week.
If we come out hungry and chomping at the bit: Barrow AFC 3 - Rochdale 1
We'll see...

Is this the same 'Lawro' whose comment on MOTD (Bristol Rovers at home FA Cup) got a young BAFC player sent to Prison? Many of his peers had been making the same type of 'foul' for years eg Alan Shearer...and getting away with it...yet he made a comment like that on TV! For those who can't remember it went something like:
"If that was done on the streets of Barrow, you would be arrested".
This was followed up by the Bristol Rovers player who had been fouled taking legal action against the young Barrow defender. Remember the whip-rounds we had for him when he was in prison? We should have asked 'Lawro' for a contribution.
I couldn't give a toss what 'Lawro' thinks about our fixture with Rochdale. I'm quite surprised that he doesn't hang his head in shame everytime Barrow AFC are mentioned.

Did we really have a whip round for James Cotterill? Don't remember that at all

I don't think it was Lawrenson's comment that sent him to prison, I think the fact that he shithoused someone from behind and broke his jaw in full view of the cameras may have had more of an influence.
But i'm no legal expert.
