That's a bit presumptuous. I don't think he has shown anything special in the time he has spent on the pitch. I don't think we need a spokesman for us all do we?

I personally don't think Hannah,s done much wrong when he,s been on the pitch and should be given more of a chance. What's the point in him still being here if he,s got no chance of starting? Totally agree with mickmike Wilson,and no he,s not my spokesman

I hope we can.....I really don't want to end up like them clubs who feel like they're above this competition. I know, I know all the arguments for wanting/hoping we go out but I just can't bring myself to feel that way.

As Moribund says, the game was pedestrian, very pre-season friendly feel (without the sun) I thought ARH had a decent match and has certainly added crunching tackles to his game this season. Well taken goal by Richie who had a good 80 odd minutes. I thought Tuton had a good game with some tidy touch's, not too certain what the difference is between him and Ross though.

End of the day, no replay, through to the next round and Wembley is looming...

Anyone know what all the fuss was about near the end when we had a throw-in by the West terrace and the ref stopped play to speak to players? a lot of them seemed to get involved but I never noticed anything going on.

Looked like the ref ran over to book Beeley for time wasting but when he realised he had already booked him the card went back in his pocket.

I can't think of anytime when he hasn't looked any worse than any of the forwards he has played with or replaced
The last two times he has started he looked really impressive and you could tell by the crowds reaction the other week how well he had played.
I can't see where you are coming from because of the little time he gets when he finally gets on gives him little or no time to impress, I think you are being totally unfair to the guy

I agree with blue nige for once, the ref told him to take it twice, then ran over to book him, had his card ready and bottled it. As he'd already been booked.. Opposite way round wede have been annoyed.

Kiddy a nice footballing team, looked dangerous going fwd but without real penetration.. perhaps that was our defence though? Incredible header from Bully and great save in the last minute to see us home.
We seemed to take ages to work out they weren't going to hump it and were always going to play it out. Once we started cling down quicker we were more productive.
Solid debut from JT, looks to have plenty about him. Beeley was my MoM today, thought he led the way today when we were stuttering a bit.

I really think members of the forum should now try and get a grip when it comes to this subject. I think most of us have some genuine sympathy with Ross but it's beginning to feel as if he has become the focus for some peoples discontent about a variety of things and is looking a bit obsessive and irrational, especially when conducted during a match thread. By all accounts Tuton played well and Bennett scored the winning goal. All this against a decent Kiddy side who by most comments gave us a good game.

Not the greatest of games perhaps but not a reason for an outpouring of bile surely?

Spot on. If we aren't winning 3-0 with 5 minutes to go the Hannah shouts invariably come out. At no point this afternoon did I think this game needs Ross Hannah. We weren't chasing the game, we were on top and Didn't need to change anything. Cox knows exactly what he's doing when it comes to team selection and the use of Hannah and Hannah is professional enough to understand. Frustrating though it may be for him

In the quarters, a win against a decent side BUT bored shitless. Wish we would let the shackles off and play football at times. Not a complaint about the way the seasons going which is above my expectations but i can't remember the last time i got home and said "what a great game that was". We talk about crowd level's all the time on here and people talk about ticket deals, merchandise blah blah blah. Play decent football and football fans will come, play the way we do and only the die hards will turn up unless it's a big game. Can really understand why we are getting a reputation as effective but god awful to watch. And then we have the cheek to moan when someone does a job on us like cooper did last week. Pleased be in the Q/F but crowds won't improve with this anti-football we play

Yep Beeley was our MOM in the main stand. A great signing and anyone who gives 100% like he does will always be popular at Barrow

If he carries on he will be in the running for Player of the season. He has my vote up to now.
