Reaction off Facebook. And that's not even half of it. Not one in favour.

Other statement in the long line of ashit statements but that's not the managers doing.
I'll be there slightly drunk on Saturday getting behind MM and the team.

All barrow arnt we.
I will always be there supporting them.
Me too, but I fear that MM faces an uphill battle with a significant number of loyal fans against the appointment.

I think even Spirit of 1990 will struggle to defend this appointment as being better or equal to Cox

This job is a poisoned chalice. No manager is ever going to meet the expectations of the owner or the fans.
Football League? I don't think so. Attendances don't warrant it and they won't improve much if we get promotion. We are not set up on or off the field for that level.
I think the comment was " a better manager BUT THAT WILL BE HARD TO FIND". The last part seems to have been ignored.
Moore has got an up hill climb like Everest with the injuries to major players and probably having to rely on loanees to cover.
We are what we are and now we have to push on and get behind the manager and team and hope we can keep our place in this league.

Not [SwearFilter] off at him personally, [SwearFilter] off at the Cassons for claiming they'd find a better manager than Cox and saying 7th wasn't good enough, then taking 4 weeks to find a replacement only to hire the caretaker who has 1 win in 6.

Loyal fans will still back the side as we always have but it's not gonna be easy.

Keep the Faith...all those crying off aren't real supporters, they are part of the problem.

Don't believe that one bit wintergreen^ just because someone doesn't agree with something at a club doesn't make them not a true supporter

Agreed.

Does that statement mean you just have to beleive everything or your not a supporter? Nonsense.

Theres nothing wrong with fans wanting whats best for their club.

:?: Moore said Bignot didn't want the job....maybe because it was already given to him? The job was never advertised was it?

Sorry WG, the real problem for me was Casson's grandiose statements promising promotion, great football and ground redevelopment which gave supporters what looks like false hope. Can't blame those supporters for calling Casson out for failing to deliver.

There's a guy on that Facebook blurb not going again....is he a true supporter?

Let's recap...
We lost 3 key players
They have been replaced by nearly men
Cox walked out
Moore stepped in
In the upheaveal results didn't go our way
An injury crisis has now developed

Manure occurs and the true supporter soldiers on...the rest don't.

Shocking decision clearly done on the cheap. Huge step backwards and can't see it being anything other then a cost cutting excercise. Feel absolutely mugged off by the club yet again! Wonder if there is more to it then just cost cutting, could this be the start of the cassons pulling out?

Disappointed yes, [SwearFilter] off yes. But agree with Al I am going on Saturday so he and the team will get my full support.

We had our heads turned with talk of promotion and new stands. Most of the time watching Barrow AFC has been disappointing I just think this appointment lacks ambition. I am OK with lacking ambition, I am happy with surviving in this league and having a few good cup runs but why do the club pretend we are going for more than that.

I just don't understand the timing either - taken 4 weeks to appoint someone they had probably decided to appoint weeks ago. It wasn't based on results clearly.

I think the signs are there; Cox suddenly off, players disappearing and disinterested, doublespeak from the club and the continued absence of the owner.
