But, bad referee notwithstanding, we just didn't perform against a poor Havant side.
We had that shot that was kicked off the line. Apart from that though it was thin gruel.

Two weeks off to freshen up the squad, in terms of fitness and changes in personnel then let’s see how we attack the last phase of the season.

Onward!

Did not realise he took Augustien off yesterday at half time? Does not show on any match stats,. Who replaced him?

As one who made the journey to Havant yesterday I would like to record the highlights, i.e. the record breaking time achieved by the bus drivers southbound and the even faster journey home. I went to see a football match only there wasn't any football.. Very disappointed.

Luckily it's only about a 10 min drive to the ground for me but it's a very long drive from Barrow to see such a poor performance..

Everyone saying the same thing about the performance. So what has happened here then. Line up, tactics, substitutions, too many off their game? Surely the “one game too many” is too easy to roll out.

Surely we were well up for this, given that a win would have kept us within touching distance of the top 7.

On a recent radio interview Evatt was talking about giving the team some time off training, in view of the busy Christmas/New Year period. Maybe this was to blame.

I heard the interview and i think it was in reference to the upcoming free weekend with us having no game He referred to the fact that the players had not seen their families over Xmas and New year as the squad had prepared properly and had been together in a hotel the night before each game and he felt that the players probably deserved this weekend off.

Once again conceding from not stopping a cross into the box. Static and no pressing by nearest man of the player with the ball out wide allowing him time and space. Got to be busting a gut out there to stop that cross coming in.

after watching the highlights how the ref can send Jameson off for that incident and not send the Havant player off for kicking out at Jones is unbelievable but after being at the game and seeing the referees performance did not surprise me i hope the club appeal against the sending off

Because neither the referee, the linesman, or the fourth official managed to see the Jones incident, but the referee saw the Jameson one.

Having said that, the referee seemed at times to be working to his own set of rules rather than those laid down by the football authorities.
