nobody has any real idea at this stage i think but my guess so far would be;-
Dixon
Barry, Hird, Platt, Beddling, Brough
Jones, Hardcastle, Kay
Angus + Quigley (after 1st 3 games)
OR
Dixon
Barry, Hird, Platt, Brough/Kay
Jones, Beddling
Hardcastle, Gribben, Kay/Angus
Quigley

No idea but it's fun guessing. The only thing I hope is that we continue playing 3 at the back and wingbacks as Evatt did and, also, that the players who did so well last season get a chance to see if they are good enough at this level. So, I'd start with a team something like:-
Dixon
Hird Platt Brough
Barry Jones Beadling Kay
Hardcastle
Angus Quigley

Seem to be short of 2 goal-scoring forwards, especially without Quigley.
Angus won't score that many and for me he'd start on the bench anyway.
Where does James fit in? Sub forward?
Seems many don't rate Penfold. "Loan him out"... they say.
So after these 4 the forward cupboard is bare, and we'll have to depend on the mid-field for goals.

Don't think it's what people know it's what people think from when they've seen him in FA Trophy games
