So I suppose if you want to stand on the terraces you need to buy from Carlisle's website.

No, you wait until the extra tickets (in the open standing end) become available from our club.

The extra tickets will be the rest of the seats in the East Stand Away section and not the standing area in the Waterworks end.

So first we get told the KO time is being brought forward, and now Carlisle are telling us that no tickets will be available to buy on the day, yet I rang them last week and they told me tickets would be on sale on the day and from the ground…!

They don't appear to have declared it as all ticket [ yet ] so presumably, that means any tickets left will be on sale on the day.

But be warned they will deny this in the run-up to the game then announce it at 4pm on the Friday afternoon.

Can't the club just ask Carlisle for the full away allocation upfront so you are able to purchase more than one ticket. As a season ticket holder I'm guaranteed a ticket but I want to take my daughter and make a day of it, match, meal & shopping. I'm in a dilemma now do I not use the guaranteed ticket via my season ticket and wait till they go on open sale in the hope I can purchase two tickets, FFS the ground is 18000 capacity and there will be nowhere near that.

They'll give you the full allocation no doubt but you will have to pay for the full allocation upfront with no refund for any you don't sell.

And then at the end of the season, they will wonder why more away fans didn't attend

As has been stated there is room for 3.5k if they had anything about them they would be doing deals to sell the lot i.d put a batch on Groupon buy 5 adult tickets pay for 4 or buy an adult and 2 kids and get another kids ticket free.

The reduction in the value of each transaction is party covered by the club not having to pay people to conduct the transaction and buy selling multiple tickets in one transaction.

Seems a stupid system. It discourages Barrow from getting more tickets and potentially reduces the number of away fans attending the match. Carlisle's gate receipts suffer. Same as the can't buy tickets on the day weird

I've never seen anything as stupid as that

Sunderland and Everton (both away) did that to us (Carlisle) a few years back, and our board (as usual) bottled it. So you will get around 1500 'seated tickets', if your club decides to go ahead with the extra tickets.
You will not get any standing tickets in the Petteril End, as it doesn't have a safety certificate (and hasn't for a few years), unless they can miraculously find one from now until the game.
