Probably the poorest performance of the season for me this.

We were lucky to be ahead at half time, and second half has been terrible. Not sure where this performance has come from but I wasn't convinced by the way we set up from the start.

All of that said, Port Vale look a good side and have played with an intensity that we have not come anywhere near to matching.

Thought today would be tough as Vale are in good form but going 1-0 up to completely fold second half ! 4 shots on target 3 goals

Well beaten here. This is one of the bloody noses Cooper said we’d get along the way.

Im disappointed with the Zanzala situation. He hasn’t gone 90 mins yet and he was dropped today. He needs backing if he is out of sorts. Doesnt do the confidence any good if he gets dropped

No good enough this today. Very poor decision making and shoddy defending yet again. The players seem incapable of managing a game when we get in front and can someone please show Gordon the [SwearFilter] offside rule.

Another poor second half performance from Barrow. Hopefully back to winning ways on Tuesday. Not sure what’s happened to Zanzala. Needs to start scoring again.

This is why we did needed another quality striker in the summer despite people saying otherwise; we don’t have a striker (Gordon pulls out wide a lot more, and is more useful there) when Zanzala isn’t fit/out of form as he is at the moment.

Desperate for Platt to somehow get back AND then stay fit. Can’t imagine Grayson or Jones were either planned to be first choice centre backs but here we are.

Great chance to bounce back on Tuesday against the worst team in the league

Meh, can't get too disheartened. On current form and results wise we are a decent mid table team, markedly improved on last season. These results will happen.

I was not confident at 1 up at half time that it would be enough. You have to expect any home side 1 down at HT is going to come out fighting. The second goal was all important and it came within the first 10 mins of the second half. As a Barrow fan you can almost predict this stuff.

But these are big tests for these players and it’s a timely reminder that there are some good sides around who know how to stay in games and turn things around.

Hope they take this one on the chin and learn from it. I am however a bit unsure about the Zanzala situation. We need him on the pitch and scoring. We know he can do it.

Bad day at the office but we have a good chance to pick up points in Tuesday but ST will not come to play attacking football.
