What have we got to lose?
Well I'm sure he'll have more to offer than 'run around a lot' and 'put the ball in the net'.

That was Cooper's rather unusual way of throwing the towel in but it certainly won't be ours.

Come on you mighty Blues!!!

not being funny but who are we going to get at this stage of the season? I'm thankful someone has actually agreed to do it !
Nige, who is not usually one for boundless optimism ;),hits nail on head. How many experienced managers are available to step in on an interim contract. It’s only a temporary appointment.

On a lighter note... he’s also an electrician so he can fix the floodlights if they go off again :scarf:

Don’t know if anyone else has noticed but TalkSPORT can never get anything right when it comes to reporting on lower leagues.
Every news report saying that we are 3rd bottom and 3 points ahead of 2nd bottom Oldham having played a game more.
How can they not get simple facts like the league table correct?

He does have an experienced assistant in Neil Mcdonald.
I would imagine they will have been watching the last few Barrow games.
This has not just happened after Saturdays game.
The board must have been putting this in place for a while.
I wonder if Cooper knew that.

Well this one has certainly split opinion, not evenly I may add.

He’s got a 6 point cushion to work with, and right now I'm not arsed about “keeping it on the deck”, its all about no risks and staying ahead of the bottom two. That’s it.

Good luck Phil Brown and Neil McDonald, you need to sort the strikers confidence out and hopefully that will help them find the net.

Not sure about this appointment long term but will back him to the hilt for this season. Do his teams actually attack at home is what we need

Several times on here calling for Cooper to go. I was shocked tbh, just thought he needed to build each year but performances have been poor. If we stay up we'll all be happy so couldn't care less who we have as long as he does the job. 4 points at least next 2 games please Phil 😂

Totally agree. Not quite sure what sort of an appointment people expected at this stage of the season but, given the circumstances, I for one am not sure there was any better available. Time will tell who's right!
