Seriously, Tv game, why would the tv company chose that game, why. If I’m wrong I’ll walk Maidstone .
As previously said lowest ranked home team, potential banana skin beating a league team, be on the box
Think this team is capable of seeing this team off.
Some of our previous problems Alfreton when were a league team and had to play a few replays or Shaw when we got beat think our Manager got the bullet after that run of games.
Anything can happen but it will not be for lack of effort.

They obviously consider we're not set for an upset so that's fine. I'll take the TV money in the 4th round instead.

Maidstones' unbeaten run came to an end yesterday when they were thrashed 2-5 at Hampton & Richmond. Four of the goals conceded were headers which just might go to show where their vulnerabilities lie.

This result will have NO bearing how our one off game against them will be. Plastic pitch, carrot of a big side away next round, underdog raising their game substantially and Barrow not quite on their game. Weather also could play a part. Wont be easy i can tell ya.

Aye, look at what we did to Brentford a few years back! oh what a night that was....

Exactly, I can’t imagine a PW team casually thinking they can stroll through any game, With what’s at stake we are in for a tough test but very winnable providing we take it seriously

I disagree. Glad their unbeaten run has come to an end. As I stated earlier on this thread, any team who is on an unbeaten run is a team full of confidence and very dangerous, especially at home. Getting beat before their big day against us has filled me with more confidence of Barrow getting a result. I agree - it won't be easy - as they'll have a partisan crowd on their side and they'll be used to playing on the plastic surface. I'll stick with my earlier prediction of it being a draw. Let's bring them to Holker Street under the lights
And in Round 3? Well, we've had Middlesbrough and Sunderland in the past. It's gotta be the Magpies hasn't it?

I'm sure they will play better than that in a couple of weeks.
However were I PW I would note that the first four goals conceded were all headers. They failed to properly mark their near post and their far post and when the ball came into the box they generally failed to get up in the air and defend it. Fake pitch or not corners and set pieces look like their most obvious weakness. This has Emile Acquah's name potentially written all over it.
