Indeed, had checked the Carlisle site a couple of times and was, to say the least, surprised that tickets for home fans had not yet been released. Talk of a 12,000 attendance may have been premature and with only two weeks to go, ticket office staff are going to be put under a lot of a pressure unless the club only issues e-tickets. Then it will be the sales platform under undue pressure!bluedevil wrote: ↑Thu Aug 01, 2024 10:35 pm Not sure what the hell is going on at Brunton Park at the moment, ticket details still haven't been released for our fans.
The friendly on Saturday against 'Stockport' has only the main stand and Paddock open, as is the league cup game against Stoke, which is only a few days before the Barrow game, the latter being a bit surprising as most people were expecting a decent crowd against Championship opposition.
But..........I'm presuming with your tickets going on sale that it 'IS' going ahead on the date specified as there was talk of switching the two dates to give the builders more time to finish their work.
However after going past BP today, the Warwick Road End and East Stand both still look like building sites.
Its going to be an interesting couple of weeks???
Is the club not communicating with its fans? Very frustrating, if so. Building projects are notorious for overruns and better to bite the bullet early if there are issues. Assume the club will need a new safety certificate to include the affected areas too which, of course, may take time.
