RC are based in Carlisle, they’ve covered the Piatek take over like its the Roman Empire come to improve our land, they’re always gonna prioritise Carlisle as a club, personally I just got used to it after last season.

What did you say on your text Jim?

But if people aren’t going to get involved what is there to react to?

It will just be me and Jase repeating ourselves over and over again, talking about the same things as we have spoke about already over the course of 90mins

The whole point of a post match debate is to have debate - not just us saying things we have already said

I’m bored now of trying - I come on here - I give people the opportunity but apart from the usual people who do get involved it falls on deaf ears

The opportunity is there every week to get involved in the show. If people choose not to (which is there choice) then don’t at the same time moan that we have little reaction

Clemence came to me while Simpson was on so was recording my interview off air
Of course Barrow gets cut off for Carlisle. Total joke to listen to him banging on about how good they were!!!! Radio Carlisle at its best again

Okay then how much of the boarder raiders post match show is reacting to texts. It’s lummy going on for hours about shite. We’ve all had enough. They’re shite we will [SwearFilter] them next week

Fantastic result,so different to last season.Loved the quick passing,no deliberating about who to pass the ball to.The defence seemed to be a lot tighter.Every loose ball was fought for, great to watch.I think we could be in for an exciting ride this season.Hopefully we put Carlisle to the sword next week.I,ll be there in anticipation of a great win. Then hopefully they will realise who is the better team.If we do manage to beat them I can,t wait for the moan fest at the end of the game. Then perhaps instead of keeping Adam waiting till nearly the end of the broadcast by Radio Cumbria he will be on first with his post match report.Onwards and Upwards.

Totally right. They pad the last bit of the show out with texts that have come in. Afraid Adam is full of excuses but obviously has loyalty to his employer. Better off not trying to defend them

The texts get read out and the reporters respond

That’s how it works

I’m not bothered anymore
If you don’t want to get involved then don’t
But don’t moan and winge when you don’t get what you want - fed up trying now

Firstly why are people bothered about the radio? It's not 1960 ,ffs give it a rest ! There's always good interviews on X ( twitter), Anyway onto the game, kept our shape really well, effort was exceptional, up front that needs addressing don't honestly see what people do about Aqua he's just too inconsistent at this level!, gardner flits in and out but Clemence can see this wouldn't be surprised if we brought someone in !
3 points solid start onto Tuesday!

Thought Mahoney was good today. He has a lot of composure and as expected is technically very good.

Vassell, Feely and Jackson all has great games in defence.

Most others were hard working if not lacking a bit of final product. Plenty good enough to build on going forward!

I heard that too - basically, if we weren’t rubbish and the other team weren’t better than us, we might win! Wow, worth paying the licence fee for that level of insight….😆

Adam and RC do a good job covering us.

Yes the Carlisle bit can get a bit tedious but RC is Carlisle based.

If we were still in Lancashire you would hardly hear any Barrow coverage if we were on Radio Lancashire with the big boys down there.

Why not just totally bomb radio carlisle with Barrow texts .?
I'm always driving home to Barnard Castle and the only entertainment I get is Carlisle fans slagging thier team off.
Simpson could put a glass eye to sleep which isn't great going up the M6 so come on lads let's blitz it next week.

Listened to Jason & Adam post match saying not much quality from Barrow and not very entertaining but a solid win, it's a start and hopefully we can get better to keep the crowd interested, nice gesture at the end with Katia Kouyate throwing his shirt to his Mother in the Family stand on his EFL debut.
